"The way this shoot came about: we got a phonecall from Hello Kitty, who asked us to do a 35th anniversary image for the brand," Klinko told InStyle.com. "Initially they just wanted the picture without a person in it, and I said to them, 'That’s not really what we do. Why don’t we use a huge celeb like Lady Gaga?' One thing led to another, and an almost impossible idea came to reality in London. We met Gaga and did the shoot in this amazing, mysterious Missonic temple we found underground. It was like living in a cartoon. Gaga strikes me extremely strongly. She is the least packaged person you can imagine. Everything she does is really genuine and nobody tells her what to do. "
