What does a Princess wear to meet a Queen? These two looks, shown here. Princess Charlene of Monaco chose a seafoam skirt suit and powder blue heels for a luncheon at Windsor Castle in England honoring the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee—where she met Duchess Catherine—and changed into a pale peach gown for a dinner in the royal’s honor at Buckingham Palace. A snakeskin clutch and ’20s-inspired finger curls completed her look. We wonder what her pre-planning conversation was going into that marathon of a day!

Cannes Film Festival Fashion 2012: Gold Sequins

This weekend, we spotted Jessica Chastain in a gilded chiffon Gucci design, the festival’s celebrity jury member Diane Kruger in a rose gold sequin-encrusted Vivienne Westwood gown, and Jada Pinkett-Smith in a precious metal patchwork beaded Emilio Pucci creation. Pippa Middleton in the Issa Dress That Won’t Quit

The royal blue Issa dress Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made famous when she announced her engagement to Prince William in November 2010 is back again! This time, it’s on her little sister. Pippa Middleton chose the same flattering wrap design to attend her friend’s wedding in Scotland this weekend, only in a raspberry red color, and added a matching black and rose floral fascinator. Ironically, when Issa reissued the design in the different hue, the label made a nod to the elder Middleton’s big moment, naming it “Royal Engagement Dress” (available for $555 at net-a-porter.com). Of course, Pippa could have chosen any other look, but why mess with a good thing, right?

Priscilla Chan Wears Claire Pettibone to Marry Mark Zuckerberg

Wedding season is in full swing! Kicking it off with a surprise is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Just a day after his company went public, the 28-year-old billionaire married longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan in an intimate ceremony, held at their Palo Alto home in California, and announced the news on Facebook, of course. The bride chose a look by Claire Pettibone, a laser-cut lace floral gown with an illusion neckline and sheer back, embroidered with matte sequins and a jeweled neckline. The dress is straight off of Pettibone’s runway, and sells for $4,700. (The designer tells us that Chan purchased the piece at a San Francisco salon, and since the ceremony, it has already been requested by multiple stores nationwide.) The couple of nine years said their “I Dos” in front of 100 guests, who all thought they were attending a party celebrating Chan’s graduation from medical school, and Green Day performed at the reception. We “like” this relationship status update!
