The stars played peekaboo at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night! Celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Emmy Rossum, and Taylor Swift all chose to wear designs that incorporated sheer elements (and all by the same designer, Zuhair Murad). Lopez’s gold skirt was see-through, Rossum’s side panels were covered in polka dots only, and Swift’s royal blue mini featured a crackle pattern that showed off her shoulders. But no one tried to do sheer quite like Once Upon a Time star Jennifer Morrison, who walked the carpet in a completely transparent gown (save for her skivvies) by Kristian Aadnevik. Twilight brought in some big bucks! Breaking Dawn – Part 2 grossed $141.3 million in its opening weekend—making in the eight biggest opening weekend opening of all time—as well as $199.6 million internationally. The mega-appeal is due in part to the cast, including Kristen Stewart, who embarked on an around-the-world tour to promote the finale movie in the series and worked with stylist Tara Swennen to pack some of the boldest, brightest, and best outfits we’ve ever seen her wear. In Berlin, she shined in a gold Elie Saab dress; in Madrid, she glowed in sunny yellow Christian Dior; in London, she wore a black lace and sequin jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad; and in Hollywood, she dazzled in an illusion Zuhair Murad gown. Peekaboo! We See You Kristen, Christa, Theresa, and Ashley

Look who played peekaboo! This week, red carpets were full of very sheer looks, with Kristen StewartChrista B. AllenTeresa Palmer, and Ashley Greene all wearing see-through styles in a 48-hour time period. Stewart chose Zuhair Murad for Twilight’s London premiere, Allen worked Catherine Malandrino at GQ’s Man of the Year Awards, Palmer went bare in Emilio Pucci for Twilight’s screening in Hollywood, and Greene tried lace Wes Gordon for the CFDA Fashion Fund Award ceremony. While these looks dare to bare, the look is actually something many women can pull off. So you don’t expose too much, look for pieces with built-in coverage, like double-layer pockets and panels or strategically placed prints. Most importantly, this isn’t a grab-and-go shopping venture—the fabric has little hanger appeal, so you must try it on!

Plus, see another trend we love, black and white!
