Britney Spears and will.i.am Debut “Scream and Shout” on X Factor

Nov 29, 2012 @ 10:15 am

On last night’s episode of The X Factor, judge and reigning pop princess Britney Spears debuted her newest video with her frequent collaborator, rapper/producer will.i.am, for his song “Scream & Shout.” It’s been a while since we’ve seen Brit Brit in a music video—the last time was more than a year ago, when she put out “I Wanna Go“—and she’s making quite the comeback with this latest clip. Channeling the ’80s era of vogue-ing, Britney (and will.i.am too, for that matter) works a club-ready look for this club-ready jam in midriff-baring sequin outfits, a nude/black shard and fringe corset from The Blonds, gold accessories, black leather gloves, and plenty of volumized hair. “He is like a big kid to work with,” Spears said of her collaborator. “It was a lot of fun, we had a lot of fun.” Check out the clip above, and (spoiler alert!) the song revives an iconic line of Britney’s from her song “Gimme More.” Can you guess what it is?

The X Factor: Britney Spears’ Looks This Week

Nov 2, 2012 @ 3:40 pm

The X-Factor contestants battled live on stage for the first time this week, and Britney Spears dressed up to take her seat at the judges’ table. The pop star donned a short black Lever Couture dress for Wednesday’s performance show, and chose a Lublu dress collar style for last night’s results show. She accessorized the latter with Marni earrings, a Kelly Wearstler ring, a BCBG necklace, and a belt from Mango. We can’t wait to see next week—for the performances, too, of course!

Plus, see all of Britney’s changing looks!

Demi Lovato Goes Brunette!

Nov 1, 2012 @ 12:05 pm

It’s back to brunette for Demi Lovato! The star has made some drastic hair color changes this year—from red to blonde to everything in between—and on last night’s The X Factor, Lovato debuted a deep brown shade. This makes for her eighth hair change this year (including recent bangs), and Lovato joins Drew Barrymore, who also just traded in summery blonde in favor of a darker fall hue. So, tell us: Do you like Demi’s new color? Plus, catch Lovato on The X Factor, live tonight at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.

Poll: Are the Presidential Debates and Baseball Interfering With Your Favorite Shows?

Oct 18, 2012 @ 2:25 pm

The powers that be our messing with our favorite primetime shows! America’s favorite pastime, baseball, and this little thing called the Presidential election keep bumping around the lineup. Last night, The X Factor went to a commercial break and never returned thanks to a baseball rain delay, leaving only 10 out of the 16 final contestants announced to the dismay of many fans—us included. (The show is supposed to return next week, and bump out new episodes of the New Girl and The Mindy Project!) Plus, Glee went on a forced month-long hiatus, not to return until November 4th. “I had nothing to do with it,” Ryan Murphy told InStyle.com at this week’s Golden Hearts Awards. “People think I control the schedule or something. I would like to take this opportunity to say I fought it.” So, we want to know: Are you upset that your shows have been rescheduled?
