Whitney Port is launching a new lower-priced line, WE by Whitney Eve! The budget-friendly collection will be available exclusively through Apricot Lane boutiques starting April 19th, and will act as a secondary line to her main label, Whitney Eve, which the former reality star launched in 2008. We by Whitney Eve boasts five styles for spring ranging in price from $93 to $130, with a bigger lineup scheduled for fall. Good news beauty mavens! Soft, textured top knots—one of the season’s hottest red carpet looks as proven by Eva Longoria, Whitney Port, Jennifer Lopez and Elizabeth Olsen—is one of the easiest trends to try yourself. “It’s a younger, fresher look than the traditional ballerina bun,” hairstylist Mark Townsend, who created Olsen’s version, told InStyle.com. “You don’t want a perfect circle on top of your head. You want an imperfect shape. Lizzie and I knew one side of her bun was higher than the other and that’s what we loved about it.” To try the look at home, Townsend suggests gathering your strands into a high ponytail and adding body with a blast of Oribe Dry Texturzing Spray ($39 at oribe.com). “Braiding the hair before twisting it around the base will also help keep it from looking too perfect,” he adds.
