Being by the water is a must for the model (she is Brazilian, after all!), which is why she’s the perfect person to tell us how to pick the perfect swimwear. “Finding the right swimsuit starts with finding the right shape for your body,” she told InStyle.com at Victoria’s Secret’s swim collection celebration in Los Angeles last week. March Madness—the annual college basketball competition that whittles 32 teams down to one champ—begins tomorrow, and walk into any mall and your school spirit is hanging on the racks. Valentine’s Day Is One Week Away, Are You Ready? Victoria’s Secret Angels Are!

Valentine’s Day is just one week away, and no one is quite as ready as the lingerie loving Victoria’s Secret Angels. We caught up with two yesterday—Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge—at the label’s V-Day event held at the Herald Square flagship in New York, to find out of their feel-sexy secret for the day of love. “Choose something that makes you feel irresistible,” she said, adding that she adores the Very Sexy Push-Up Bra ($55 to $85). Aldridge agreed: “Wear things that you feel comfortable and sexy in,” she said, noting she loves the Very Sexy Floral Bustier ($88). But, ultimately, they said sexy comes from within. “Being healthy and happy is the time where I feel most beautiful,” said Aldridge. So, who’s ready for Valentine’s Day?

Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel knows a thing or two about strong feminine sex appeal, and that’s just what she’s bringing to Swarovski’s latest ad campaign. Shot by fashion photographer Nick Knight (one of Gaga’s favorites), the images depict Swanepoel donning sleek-looking, crystallized active wear that include dumb bells, skiing goggles, and a helmet. “Nick catches her spirit perfectly,” Swarvoski executive Nadja Swarovski said in a statement. “Beautiful, healthy, and strong, she is in charge, and can compete in any way. She is also fun and kind of humorous.”

Golden Globes 2013: Inside InStyle’s Beauty Lounge

“You come in and it’s a one-stop beauty shop here!” Dancing With the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff said of the white and gold-decorated InStyle Beauty Lounge, which popped up for two days only at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills Hotel in celebration of Golden Globes weekend. While there, she and guests indulged in hair and makeup makeovers courtesy of L’Oreal (Smirnoff went for a multi-braid look) and a manicures by O.P.I. while sipping on bubbly Champagne and SmartWater. “The whole awards show is so glamorous and grand,” said Smirnoff, who also walked away with Donna Karan hosiery for the big night. “I can’t wait!” Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin—who revealed she’ll be wearing Chanel to the ceremony—also stopped by, and practiced her red carpet poses in the L’Oreal makeup chair. “I will try and do the sexy face, of course!” the Hungarian model said of making her first appearance on the Globes red carpet. Added Smirnoff: “I can’t wait to see what everybody wears. Obviously, that’s what we’re all looking for.” Very true!

Calling all nail enthusiasts! Your manicure is about to get a lot sexier. Victoria’s Secret is rolling out a 21-piece nail polish collection—its first permanent lacquer line ever—and if you caught their fashion show last month, you’ve already seen two of the shades! “This is the first time Victoria’s Secret has come up with a specific look for nails on the runway,” manicurist Yuna Park told InStyle.com backstage. “We used Bitten, a sheer nude-pink color, for the Victoria’s Secret models, and a glittery color called Peep Show for the PINK models.” And in addition to the rosy runway hues, the impressive collection boasts even more versatile shades, ranging from punchy fuchsia to high-impact glitters.
