Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton took home the top prize at tonight’s British Fashion Awards in London—Designer of the Year! What an end to the McQueen protégé’s whirlwind year, which included designing Kate Middleton’s wedding gown, opening a sell-out exhibition about her mentor at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and seeing her work displayed at Buckingham Palace. Other winners at the ceremony included Stella McCartney for the Red Carpet Award, Victoria Beckham for Designer Brand of the Year and Alexa Chung for the public-voted British Style Award. Congratulations to all!

Victoria Beckham’s collection showed off dresses for every occasion, from Sunday brunch to black-tie events. The palette—soft yellows, whites and grays—gave the collection a sense of freshness and serenity, while mandarin orange offered a jolt of brightness. Hardware studded clothing and accessories for a utilitarian chic look, and she catapulted outerwear to center stage with hooded parkas and evening coats. Beckham also introduced sportier new fabrics with this lineup, including techno-stretch and utility strapping. Beautiful handbags finished off the looks, with chain-strap scrunched-up clutches and oversize structured satchels. What a weekend for baby news! Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner welcomed their first daughter into the world on Sunday, and they named her Arabella Rose. “We feel incredibly grateful & blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!” Trump tweeted. Victoria Beckham also took to Twitter to share snapshots of baby Harper Seven Beckham with her dad David Beckham. The new mom wrote, “We all feel so blessed and the boys love their baby sister so much!!!”

It’s been quite a week for baby news! Victoria and David Beckham welcomed their first daughter into the world yesterday, named her Harper Seven! The new mom has always loved the name Harper, People reports, and seven is considered a lucky number (it was also David’s jersey number for Manchester United and the English national team). Kate Hudson and her fiance, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy also became new parents yesterday, when Hudson gave birth to a baby boy! The couple hasn’t revealed their son’s name yet. Congratulations all around!

Victoria Beckham is set to give birth to her fourth child (and first daughter!) any day now, and her husband David Beckham shared a photo of her baby bump on Facebook! The proud pop wrote, “Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn’t looking.
