Oscars weekend brought out the color of the year! The color authority Pantone named tangerine as 2012′s most wanted hue, and celebrities brightened up their red-carpet wardrobes with a splash of the citrus shade. Cameron Diaz chose figure-hugging Victoria Beckham, Vanessa Hudgens stood out in a vibrant Tibi design, and Julie Bowen partied in a draped Halston look. Pantone declared Tangerine Tango the color of 2012, and stars like Jennifer Hudson, Vanessa Hudgens, Rashida Jones, and Alexa Chung have already incorporated the hot hue into their beauty routines. Tangerine is a sunnier, warmer alternative to the traditional red, and even better, it flatters almost every skin tone. Case in point: a punchy citrus pucker looks great on both Hudson and Jones, while Hudgens and Chung both tried a spring-appropriate mandarin polish.
