With only three more weeks until Divergent hits theaters on March 21 (psst you can pre-order tickets starting Tuesday, March 4), we’re coping with the anticipation the only way we know how—by giving away five of Sephora’s Divergent Multi-Piece Collector Kits on Twitter. And you’re definitely going to want to throw your hat in the ring, because the collection is pretty amazing.
For Sephora’s first film collaboration, they pulled out all of the stops. The kit includes not one but three limited-edition eye shadow palettes, a check palette that has two blushes, a bronzer, and an illuminator, plus four lip glosses, all inspired by the traits from each faction. Oh, but that’s not all: Three Get-the-Look cards are included, so whether you want to achieve that subtle Abnegation glow or a fearless Dauntless smoky eye, you can do so easily with the step-by-step instructions.
So, how do you win one of these fabulous dystopian-inspired kits? Next Wednesday, March 5, we’ll be posing a question on Twitter at 1pm EST about the “Spring Fling” spread featuring Shailene Woodley and Theo James from our March issue (page 554). The first five @InStyle followers who answer the question correctly will win one of the kits. So if you haven’t already picked up or downloaded the Nicole Kidman-covered issue, you’ll want to do so ASAP. Plus, browse the entire Divergent collection now by heading to sephora.com/divergent.

The singer and CoverGirl is the first celeb to snag 50 million followers (she’s currently at 50.1 million and growing!) on the digital platform. Perry secured the top spot over the weekend, beating out Justin Bieber (49.2 million), Lady Gaga (41 million), and Taylor Swift (38.7 million). The news came the same week Perry’s “Dark Horse” landed the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Best way to end January, or what?
Aside from posting upcoming tour dates, the singer talks charities (particularly UNICEF, where she acts as Goodwill ambassador), interacts with her legion of connected fans, the Katycats, and encourages cameos from her beau, John Mayer, on Twitter—most notably, this gem, which was retweeted over 12,000 times: “John here. Katy can’t write because she’s getting over Stevie Nicks dedicating Landslide to us at the Fleetwood Mac concert. Unforgettable.” So sweet! Click to see Perry and Mayer on date night post-Grammys.
Philip Seymour Hoffman, you will be missed. The legendary actor has died today in New York City at the age of 46. “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Phil and appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone. This is a tragic and sudden loss and we ask that you respect our privacy during this time of grieving,” his family said in a statement, according to people.com. “Please keep Phil in your thoughts and prayers.” Famous for his incredible range, Hoffman was known for his standout roles in The Big Lebowski, Charlie Wilson’s War, Almost Famous, and The Hunger Games to name a few. The news of his passing was felt among his colleagues, co-stars, friends, and fans in Hollywood, with many of them taking to Twitter to express their condolences.
