True Blood’s new Forsaken beauty collection is here early! HSN put the lineup—including body cream, body veil, candle, diffusers, nail polishes (one is scented!), and a fragrance—up for pre-sale on its Facebook page today, one day before it launches on HSN and HSN.com. Even True Blood cast member Kristin Bauer van Straten—also known as sexy vampire Pam—is excited to get her hands on the Deborah Lippmann portion of the offering, like the lacquer named “Let It Bleed” and the manicurist’s first-ever lipstick, “Bite Me.” “I love the colors,” she told InStyle.com. “It’s an animal-friendly, sexy line, which are two things that women like. Of course, it’s very Pam.” Click through the gallery to preview the entire Forsaken assortment, available on facebook.com/hsn for $25 to $60.
True Blood aired last night! And while the drama rages on between Sookie (Anna Paquin) and her main boys, Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skargard), we can’t help but get distracted by one little thing: Pam’s (Kristin Bauer van Straten) super-sexy costuming. “You get the script, and you have these pretty great scenes—these crazy scenes and dialogue—and then the wardrobe fitting feels like Christmas,” Bauer van Straten told InStyle.com at the launch of HSN’s TB-inspired Forsaken Beauty Collection. “[Costume designer] Audrey Fisher is amazing. She brings in a rack of that stuff and I email her and go, ‘What do you think we’re going to do—what direction?’” According to Bauer van Straten, there are only two options: “Sexy or sexier. You don’t do a lot of breathing during the day, but it’s fun!” Considering how devilish her character can be, we bet it is!

With a new episode of True Blood airing tonight, do you ever find yourself wondering if Pam’s getting a love interest? Kristin Bauer van Straten, the actress who plays the no-nonsense immortal with fangs, is asking the same thing. “I’m curious as to why I haven’t had a love interest, I’m really wondering,” she told InStyle.com at the launch party for Forsaken, the new beauty collection by HBO and HSN. “I’ve had a love interest off-screen, where I sort of did something I can’t say in a PG interview on top of a desk.” That said, she hinted her fictional love life will move more in front of the camera soon. “But, I’m looking forward to having a love interest and I’m looking forward to seeing who can capture Pam’s eye,” she said. “I suspect that she will be a she.” Just like the books—but maybe better! Tune in to catch a new episode of True Blood, airing tonight at 9 p.m. on HBO.

In honor of True Blood star Anna Paquin’s birthday—she turns 30 today!—we pulled a Sookie Stackhouse and “read the mind” of set hairstylist Dennis Parker to find out how to get her signature waves. To start, Parker preps the star’s strands by applying a volumizing mousse, followed by a generous spritz of White Sands Liquid Texture Firm Hold. “I spray the product on each individual section that I am about to curl,” he said. “It has incredible memory to provide long-lasting waves with a flexible hold and amazing shine, which is exactly what I need for long hours on set.” Parker then wraps each section around a large-barrel curling iron, and once the ringlets have cooled, he gently tousles the style to add extra volume. Pick up a bottle for $19 at whitesandsproducts.com.

The True Blood panel at Comic Con was major eye candy! Star Anna Paquin squished in between Joe Manganiello and Alexander Skarsgård to chat about the show, as well as show off her growing baby bump (she’s expecting twins with real-life husband and co-star Stephen Moyer) in a gray patterned two-piece. In celebration of another Anna win—because with that role, how is she not?!—we’re taking a look back at her Hollywood transformation, from an 11-year old Oscar-winner to Sookie Stackhouse and beyond. See Anna’s many looks through the years by clicking through the gallery.
True Blood is sinking its teeth into HSN! The HBO show teamed up with the retailer to launch Forsaken, a line of vampire-inspired beauty and home products starting August 9th. “Even into its fifth season, True Blood continues to be wildly popular in pop culture so we are always looking to provide new ways for fans to engage with the brand,” James Costos, HBO’s Vice President of Global Licensing, told InStyle.com. “We felt a fragrance line that was elegant, mysterious and sensual lent itself naturally to the themes of the show.” The Forsaken collection includes a fragrance (developed by mega-perfume company Givaudan), a body cream, a body veil, a DL & Co. candle (featuring a lid with a fang on it) and diffusers, nail polishes with vampy names like “Let It Bleed” (which is scented!) by Deborah Lippmann, as well as the celebrity manicurist’s first-ever lipstick, fittingly a blood red hue named “Bite Me.” “The collection taps into the essence of the show—romantic, dark, mysterious and extremely sexy,” added Betsy Olum, the General Manager of Beauty and Merchandising Strategy for HSN. Click through the gallery to preview the entire lineup, and shop it for $25 to $60 on HSN and hsn.com starting August 9th.
True Blood’s season 5 premiere airs tonight at 9/8c on HBO, which means we can finally get the latest update on the show’s Sookie-Bill-Eric romance. We caught up with the cast at True Blood’s Hollwood premiere to ask: What’s the appeal of a supernatural love triangle? “People like having favorites,” Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) told InStyle.com. “Everybody has their own idea of what they want it to be. The more characters you give them, the more chance there is of pleasing at least some people some of the time.” What did the rest of the cast think? Click through the gallery to find out!

The fifth season premiere of True Blood airs tonight on HBO! We’re counting down until 9/8c for the latest update on Sookie Stackhouse’s love life. By the finale of season four, Sookie (Anna Paquin) swore off both Bill Compton (real-life husband Stephen Moyer) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) in a vow of independence. But will one ever win her love again? Plenty of television shows rely on love triangeles, including The Vampire Diaries and Revenge.
