We first met Desiree Hartsock when she was one of the women vying for Sean Lowe’s heart in last season’s The Bachelor. While she did not win, this Monday, she’ll begin her own run looking for love on The Bachelorette. We’re ready for it all: The glamorous dates in unbelievable destinations, the inevitable drama, and of course, Hartsock’s outfits. The show’s stylist, Cary Fetman, gave InStyle.com the inside scoop on what to expect. “Desiree is the girl who can do it all,” Fetman said. “She is sporty and will go out and play all day with the boys, then throw on a black cocktail dress at night and look sexy.” Click for more of the stylist’s secrets, then tune in to the premiere at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
Instagram just got a big update, and we’re LOVING it. The photo-sharing app just launched Photos of You, a feature that allows you to tag shots of friends, places, and brands. Once added, the pictures feed into a new section of your profile, creating a scrapbook of your best Insta moments. We’ve already had fun tagging stars like The Bachelorette‘s Emily Maynard (@emilygmaynard), who stopped by our L.A. office to show off her new jewelry collection for Towne & Reese. Rosenbaum fall in love and get engaged on the seventh season of The Bachelorette, you won’t want to miss ABC’s two-hour special tonight, The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.’s Wedding, which chronicles the preparations for the couple’s December 1st wedding. “I’ve never been a girl to dream about my wedding day, but after my dates with J.P. on the show, I would go home and think about my wedding gown,” the joyous-bride-to-be told InStyle.com. The fairytale continues this Sunday for Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and the recipient of her final rose: J.P. Rosenbaum! After getting engaged on the season 7 finale of The Bachelorette, the pair walked down the aisle on December 1, and ABC will air a two-hour special this Sunday to show how Ashley prepared for her big wedding day (the dress! the flowers! the cake!), and of course, the wedding ceremony, and reception. ”I’ve never been a girl to dream about my wedding day, but after my dates with J.P. on the show, I would go home and think about my wedding gown,” the 28-year-old dentist told InStyle.com exclusively. The show’s stylist Cary Fetman helped her prepare for the big day (and said she didn’t have a single “Bridezilla” moment!), including her choosing of a silk satin fit-and-flare gown by Randi Rahm. Click through the gallery for exclusive details about the wedding, and then tune in this Sunday, December 16th at 9 pm on ABC to see the pair exchange their “I dos.”
Ladies, meet your new Bachelor: Bachelorette finalist Sean Lowe! Bachelor no more! While there were several shockers on last night’s Bachelor Pad finale (no money for your, Rachel!), one of the more endearing moments was Tony Pieper’s spur-of-the-moment proposal to his former partner, Blakely Jones. And what a surprise it was! The shaken Jones accepted a handmade 2.5 platinum-set Neil Lane design. The cushion-cut sparkler is surrounded by 98 smaller brilliant-cut diamonds. “The ring is really inspired on Tony’s input on what Blakely dreamed about,” explains Lane. And Jones wasn’t the only one wowed by the sparkler. “[Tony] loved the ring so much, he almost passed out when he saw it,” adds the jewelry designer. Congrats to the happy couple!

Other than watching The Bachelorette to find out who Emily Maynard would pick—she walked away happily in love with Jef Holm—we loved seeing what she wore. The self-proclaimed sequin-lover didn’t disappoint, often turning to Lebanese designer Jean Fares for her debutante, southern belle wardrobe, including both her first and final rose ceremonies shown here. “I loved Emily Maynard in all my designs,” Fares told InStyle.com exclusively. “I conceive my designs in a way that can make my woman confident about her look, elegance, and allure.” Maynard’s five Jean Fares looks ring up to $38,420 total, and if you’re interested in one, visit jeanfarescouture.com to contact a showroom. When The Bachelorette Emily Maynard walked away with her dream man, 27-year-old People Water founder Jef Holm, she did it looking lovely in a dusty peach Jean Fares Couture gown. The dress will be forever etched in her memory, which is why she was careful to choose just the right one. “Before I found my perfect guy I had to find the perfect dress and the love would hopefully come soon after,” Maynard told InStyle.com of picking her look for the final rose ceremony. “As soon as I tried on the peach Jean Fares gown, I knew it was perfect because it was ladylike with the little bit of edge I love. On that final day I’ve never felt more amazing on the inside and out—all thanks to my amazing fiancé Jef and, of course, the beautiful gown!” And the love of her life agreed: “You look beautiful,” he told her during the proposal.
