Emily Maynard has always been a fan of the Charlotte-based jewelry line Towne & Reese (she wore a ton of it on her season of The Bachelorette), and now the single mom is collaborating with the brand to create her own line, available on her site, EmilyMaynard.com, beginning July 10. “Each piece reflects my style,” Maynard told InStyle.com. “Some days I wake up and dress very ladylike with heels and pearls, and the next day I’ll wear combat boots and ripped jeans, but that’s the fun part of being a girl.” Her collaborators Town & Reese, started by former advertising executives Christi Pack and Jessica Stanfield, is budget-friendly, with each piece named after friends of the duo’s daughters — who just happen to be named “Towne” and “Reese.” Maynard did the same with her collection. “Ricki [Maynard’s 7-year-old daughter] had a lot of fun naming each piece after one of her friends,” Maynard said. “She went through the whole yearbook!” In fact, with 63 pieces in her first collection, the reality star joked that Ricki is going to have to make some more friends come next season. Maynard visited antique marts for inspiration, so expect to see some vintage pieces, along with some tribal-inspired designs with turquoise. The one thing you shouldn’t expect to see? A line of bridal jewelry. “I haven’t had that good of luck,” she demurred, “so I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to jinx someone.” Click through the gallery to see some of the pieces from her new line, available July 10.

While she did not win, this Monday, she’ll begin her own run looking for love on The Bachelorette. We’re ready for it all: The glamorous dates in unbelievable destinations, the inevitable drama, and of course, Hartsock’s outfits. The show’s stylist, Cary Fetman, gave InStyle.com the inside scoop on what to expect. “Desiree is the girl who can do it all,” Fetman said. “She is sporty and will go out and play all day with the boys, then throw on a black cocktail dress at night and look sexy.” Click for more of the stylist’s secrets, then tune in to the premiere at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

The Bachelor Finale Is Tonight! Find Out What Catherine and Lindsay Wear to the Final Rose Ceremony Dress (and Why)Mar 11, 2013 @ 6:14 pm
On tonight’s Bachelor finale, Dallas insurance agent Sean Lowe will choose between graphic designer Catherine Giudici or substitute teacher Lindsay Yenter, and we caught up with the show’s stylist Cary Fetman to get the inside scoop on the ladies’ final looks. “Catherine and Lindsay have such different tastes, but they chose very similar gowns by the same designer—David Meister,” Fetman said. “Since we were taping the finale in Thailand, I brought a lot of dresses that would fit the exotic location in tropical colors like red and blue with chiffon, but they both wore stretchy, metallic gowns.” Catherine opted for a gold metallic knit one-shoulder gown ($590, davidmeister.com), and Linsday chose a silver lame racer-back look (no longer available). Fetman kept the accessories simple for both women. “It was hot and muggy, so I wanted to tone down the jewelry,” he said. “It’s all about the dress.” So, who do you want to Sean to pick: Catherine or Lindsay? Tell us by voting in the poll below, and tune in tonight on ABC at 8 p.m. to see who gets the final rose on the three-hour finale.
