Oscars weekend brought out the color of the year! The color authority Pantone named tangerine as 2012′s most wanted hue, and celebrities brightened up their red-carpet wardrobes with a splash of the citrus shade. Cameron Diaz chose figure-hugging Victoria Beckham, Vanessa Hudgens stood out in a vibrant Tibi design, and Julie Bowen partied in a draped Halston look. Emma Roberts Picks Her Favorite Outfits of the Year

Emma Roberts is having a lot of fun perfecting her style. And this year, the 20-year-old used her hundreds of red carpet appearances to inch a little closer to her ultimate fashion goals. “I think I’ve been dressier this year,” the actress told us at the recent opening of Rebecca Taylor’s new outpost in Los Angeles. “I’m usually in jeans and a shirt. Tibi’s New Resort Collection Photos!

Tibi designer Amy Smilovic just released her 2012 resort collection, and while bright patterns a signature for the brand, this resort collection takes a turn for solids. A palette of navy, blush, cherry, white, camel, gold and aqua cover the lineup of blouses, skirts, pants, and jackets. Casual dresses and pleated skirts floor-sweeping hemlines, while black leather collars toughen up a metallic sequin party dress and white frock. Jennifer Lopez’s Christian Cota Bandeau Top Is One-of-a-Kind!

Jennifer Lopez stopped by a Los Angeles Best Buy on Monday to celebrate the launch of her new album and she decided show some skin for the event! The American Idol judge and mother of two bared her abs in a black taffeta oxidized beaded bandeau by Christian Cota, which she paired with Tibi pants, a Topshop jacket, and Jimmy Choo heels. We caught up with Cota (inset), the designer behind her top, to find out if it’s available, and as it turns out, it is a one-of-a-kind piece developed for his spring 2011 collection. The New York designer thought it looked great on her because it balanced “the femininity and strength she always exudes,” he told InStyle. While this particular top is unique, tell us, would you ever wear a belly-baring look like Jennifer Lopez?

The former star of MTV’s The City recently posed for the brand’s spring 2011 lookbook, wearing Tibi pieces mixed with piles of accessories from her own closet. NY Fashion Week Day 7: Vanessa Hudgens, Rodarte and More!

Fashion Week is winding down in New York, but there’s still plenty of fabulous fashion and celebrity sightings. Vanessa Hudgens kept up her Fashion Week rounds, sitting front row at Yigal Azrouel, Diesel Black Gold and Tibi. Meanwhile, Rodarte took us through the plains of the midwest, buckwheat prints and all, with a collection that climaxed with two ruby-slipper-inspired dresses (shown). Marc Jacobs also showed a very “deer” collection for his Marc by Marc Jacobs line, with the animal featured on dresses, accessories and shoes. And that’s not all! Blake Lively paired her oversize Sebastian Tweed Boyfriend Blazer with a boho miniskirt and booties, while Leighton Meester dressed up the Sebastian Tweed Blazer with the Draped Bow Skirt and a set of pearls, natch.
