Shopbop Carries Wedding Dress Styles Now

Mar 14, 2011 @ 2:34 pm

Shopbop.com is more than just an online store, now it’s a bridal boutique! The online retailer launched its first bridal section today, a hub within its site that stocks 20 wedding gown styles and 24 bridesmaids dress options. The gowns range from $195 to $5,000, and come in styles short, long, alternative, and traditional. And they didn’t stop there, adding sections for honeymoon wear, lingerie, accessories, shoes, bags, and gifts for your big day. “Shopping online is a very non-intrusive way to find your bridal gown,” Shopbop’s Fashion Director Kate Ciepluch told InStyle. “You can order several styles, have them shipped to your home, have your family and friends over and try them on in your own personal dressing room!” Click through the gallery to see some of the wedding dresses now available at Shopbop.

Thread Social Teams Up with Priscilla of Boston

Jun 10, 2010 @ 1:17 pm

We are huge fans of Thread Social‘s uber-girly party dresses, and we love Priscilla of Boston‘s refined approach to bridal, so we were thrilled to learn that the two labels are collaborating. The new collection of special occasion frocks, featuring Thread signatures like dramatic bows and asymmetrical cuts, debuts later this month, and with price tags starting at $250. And, despite the venue, the dresses are not just for weddings: “[They are also] are for the girl who… is looking for that perfect party dress.” designers Beth Blake and Melissa Akey said. While the collection will initially be available in only three of P.O.B’s salons—Philadelphia, PA, San Jose, CA and Scottsdale, AZ—you can expect to see more locations stocking the line come fall.  Click on the gallery to see more looks from the Thread Social for Priscilla of Boston collection.
