Kristen Stewart’s Black Dress: Runway to Red Carpet!

Nov 17, 2011 @ 10:25 am

After a celeb-studded black carpet premiere in Los Angeles, Kristen Stewart jetted off to London to open The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. She went for a darker look this time around, opting for a black embellished gown by Roberto Cavalli. The piece is taken straight off the designer’s spring 2012 runway, and while it was originally shown sheer, the actress had it lined before hitting the premiere. She also made one more styling change—ditching the thick drop waist accent for a thinner leather belt.

Plus, check out what Stewart and the rest of the cast wore in Los Angeles!

Kristen Stewart: Stilettos to Sneakers

Nov 16, 2011 @ 12:50 pm

Kristen Stewart has access to some of the most gorgeous clothing and accessories, but the Twilight actress proves time and time again that she’s much more interested in being comfortable! At the Breaking Dawn premiere on Monday, she kicked off her Jimmy Choo peep-toe pumps if favor of lace-up kicks and told reporters her feet hurt due to an injury on the set of her new flick, Snow White and the Huntsman. See more examples of Stewart switching into casual clothes over formal looks in the gallery!

Ashley Greene’s Donna Karan Dress: See the Sketch!

Nov 16, 2011 @ 10:40 am

Ashley Greene’s new gig as the face of DKNY comes with its perks, like when designer Donna Karan offered to custom design the strapless red gown she wore to the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 this week. “They threw out around 15 sketches and I saw this one and I gasped,’” Greene told InStyle.com. (We tracked down the sketch, shown.) “It’s so beautiful and perfect. It’s elaborate without being overbearing. I really feel like a movie star tonight.” And while Karan was the creative force behind the look, Greene chimed in with her own tweaks, too. “They asked if we wanted to do black underneath it or nude for the bodice,” Greene explained. “And I said, ‘I think black would take away from the red and make it too vampiric, honestly,’” she laughed. “So we went with the nude!” See more looks from the premiere in the gallery.
