Robert Pattinson’s Hair: Gone, But Not Forgotten

Jan 12, 2012 @ 5:45 pm

Robert Pattinson debuted a freshly-shaved buzzcut at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night. Over the past few months, he’s slowly ditched his signature tousled strands, going from long-on-top-short-on-sides, to half-shaven, and now, completely shaved. But let us always remember the look that made him famous. Head over to the Hollywood Makeover Tool to virtually try on Pattinson’s look yourself, or give a makeover to your favorite man’s picture, then share the results with friends on Twitter and Facebook. Do it in loving memory of his shaggy hair. Gone, but not forgotten.

Breaking Dawn Star Casey LaBow Designs 3×1 Bespoke Jeans

Dec 8, 2011 @ 5:29 pm

We followed Breaking Dawn star Casey LaBow as she designed a pair of made-to-order jeans at Manhattan’s 3×1 atelier. Founded by Paper, Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn denim guru Scott Morrison, the 4,000 sq. ft. design studio offers limited edition, custom and bespoke jeans. LaBow was particularly qualified to play designer—aside from spending her pre-actress days working as a stylist’s assistant, she got an education from her boho-chic Breaking Dawn wardrobe. “We were very furs and leather—the Denali clan is like the fancy coven,” she said. “We were all fly.”  Also an inspiration? A pair of designer jeans she spotted in the closet of model pal Erin Wasson. Click through for pictures of the process and shot of the final jeans by Casey herself! And find out more about 3×1 at www.3×1.us.

Carolina Herrera’s Bella Swan Wedding Dress: Where to Find It!

Nov 29, 2011 @ 11:30 am

The Carolina Herrera-designed wedding dress Bella Swan wore in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 can be yours! And we’re talking the real thing. The designer confirmed that she will offer the gown at four of her boutiques—New York, Los Angeles Bal Harbour, and Dallas—starting this January. Just as Herrera took six months and four seamstresses to custom-create the crepe satin and French Chantilly lace gown just for Kristen Stewart, she will make the piece for interested customers entirely by hand. The estimated cost will be around $35,000—and if that’s too steep, Alfred Angelo offers an official replica for $799, available now. See more photos of the bridal look in the gallery.
