Nina Dobrev Says What We’re All Thinking: She’s Looking Forward to Jennifer Lawrence’s Oscars Red Carpet Moment

Feb 24, 2013 @ 3:00 pm

Thirty minutes after getting off a plane from Atlanta, Nina Dobrev hit the beachside red carpet at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica—there to support her Best First Feature-winning film The Perks of Being a Wallflower—looking perfectly polished in a Michael Kors shorts and embellished tank ensemble. Not far away was Jennifer Lawrence, clad in Lanvin, and Dobrev told us Lawrence is the one person she’s most looking forward to seeing on the Oscars red carpet. “I think she’s going to win, so I’d love to know what the Best Actress is going to be wearing!” Dobrev told InStyle.com. “Her whole attitude is very unapologetic. That’s cool. That’s how it should be. A confident woman is the most attractive woman.” With the red carpet just hours away—who are you most looking forward to seeing?

And when you do, you can make your own best-dressed list here!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower Has a Great Soundtrack, By the Way

Sep 18, 2012 @ 5:25 pm

Perks of Being a Wallflower comes out in theatres September 21st, and although we’re most looking forward to seeing Emma Watson‘s adorable pixie cut on the big screen, we also can’t wait to get our hands on the film’s soundtrack, which landed in stores today. It’s an ultimate mixtape of ’80s and ’90s classics, including songs from The Smiths and David Bowie, and it perfectly accompanies Stephen Chbosky’s cult-favorite novel-turned-film. Plus, Perks’s music supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas, is also behind the music from The Twilight Saga, including the upcoming Breaking Dawn Part 2, so there’s bound to be a few romantic ballads to swoon for, too. Click to see the entire track list! Emma Watson Screens The Perks of Being a Wallflower and More!

Sep 14, 2012 @ 2:56 pm

Emma Watson certainly stepped away from the wall last night, as she shone alongside co-stars Ezra Miller and Erin Wilhelmi in a white BROOD mini (an up-and-coming brand she loves!) at The Cinema Society and Lancome’s screening of her new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York. The actress talked about how she got into her role of Sam for the film: “By just asking a load of questions, and talking to [co-stars] Ezra [Miller] and Logan [Lerman] about their high school experiences.” Catch the movie in theaters September 21, and click through the gallery to see more stars from last night’s biggest events.
