SCAD and The Limited’s Jewelry Collection: Shop It Now!

Your weekend shopping just got a little more academic! The Limited has revealed its second jewelry collaboration with the Savannah College of Art and Design. Nine students from the school created a total of 26 designs for the capsule collection, which ranges in price from $23 to $50, and is shoppable here! The Limited’s CEO, Linda Heasley, said in a statement that the partnership emerged “to give students priceless, real-life experience in the fashion industry and ultimately provide our customers with the cutting-edge designs they’ve come to expect from The Limited.” One of the participating designers, Jewelry and Objects major Emily Morrow, said “it is absolutely surreal to have my designs manufactured. But in reality, it was a true collaboration of professors, students, and The Limited jewelry team all helping to create the final designs.” We especially love the scripted scroll cuff ($35), the half moon ombré necklace ($47), and the encased lace drop earrings ($25).

The Limited’s New Guest Designer: Sophie Theallet

Sophie Theallet is about to get a little more budget-friendly! Today, The Limited announced it is collaborating with the French designer to create a collection for stores this November. Theallet, whose designs are worn by Michelle Obama and Jessica Alba, told WWD that she was looking forward to “bringing the luxurious nonchalance of my aesthetic to an affordable price point.” If her latest collection is any indication of what’s in store for the retailer, shoppers can expect to see luxe ikat prints, layered turtlenecks, and plenty of jewel tones. We can’t wait to see it!

Eloquii: The Limited’s New Plus-Size Line

Eloquii, the new plus-size line from The Limited, is here! Launching online today, the label offers office-ready looks in sizes 14W to 24W. “It’s not about covering up or hiding anything, but about accentuating the parts that she is proud of and wants to show,” eloquii’s Vice President of Design Jodi Arnold tells InStyle.com of the line. Prices range from $30 to $148, and the brand plans to roll out standalone stores by next year. New Plus Size Launches from The Limited and Lane Bryant

It’s an exciting season for plus size shopping with Lane Bryant and The Limited both launching new lines. First, Lane Bryant just debuted its T3 denim collection, which employs spandex mesh inserts to flatten the tummy, and elastic-enhanced waistbands. The jeans are available in sizes 14 to 28 for $70, while office-ready pants using the same streamlining technology are $50. Then, The Limited will launch of Eloquii by The Limited, a new brand offering styles in sizes 14W to 24W on October 26th. Prices for the line range from $30 to $168. Are you excited for these new offerings?

The Limited Introduces Wedding Gowns

Budget-minded brides have yet another new option now that the The Limited has introduced its first-ever collection of wedding gowns. For now, brides have two full-length styles to choose from for their big day. The “romantic” style boasts an empire waist, ivory satin sash and a cascade of chiffon ruffles (left); the “elegant” gown features a sweet-heart neckline, pockets and a skinny belt (right). Both are being sold at an amazing (for bridal) price: only $298. Given that Hollywood stars like Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez have lately been donning long, white gowns on the red carpet, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some particularly fashion-savvy shoppers decide to skip the aisle and choose these dresses for other formal events. (Please, just don’t wear one to someone else’s wedding.)
