Blake LivelyEmmy Rossum, Jaime King and Chloe Moretz were among the celebrities who toasted to the collaboration at the opening of a Jason Wu for Target pop-up store in New York last night, all wearing pieces from the lineup. “I get so excited when I see women wear my clothes,” Wu told us on the red carpet. “I’m such a nerd, I go up to them and I tell them that they look really great even though they don’t know who I am. I just think that for somebody to purchase something that I designed, at any price, is a true compliment and true testament to what I do.” We agree! Jason Wu for Target: See the Runway and Red Carpet Inspiration!

Jan 13, 2012 @ 4:00 pm

While Jason Wu’s designs ring up in the thousands, you’ll be able to score styles similar to those seen on the runway and the red carpet for $60 and under come February. Wu’s signature ladylike silhouettes, lace fabrics and prim blouses all made their way into his Target line, which means taking style cues from the designer’s celebrity fans like Jaime King and Zoe Saldana will be easier than ever. “I really focused on not copying what I do in my main line verbatim and translating my vision and my aesthetic into pieces that girls really love,” Wu told InStyle.com. See Jason Wu’s runway and red carpet to Target double takes in the gallery, and shop the collection at Target stores and target.com starting February 5th.
