The InStyle portrait studio at the Grey Goose Blue Door Lounge in Park City, Utah was another hot pit stop for the stars of the Sundance Film Festival! Nicole Kidman rested her feet (wrapped in Belstaff boots) on one of our leather couches in between shots to promote her new movie Stoker, and left just before the hilarious cast of Afternoon Delight swung by, including Josh Radnor, Kathryn Hahn, and Jane Lynch (who photobombed our Instagram shot and Tweeted during her photo shoot). But the ones who had us doubled over in stitches were the stars of Hell Baby, Leslie Bibb and Rob Corddry, who not only sang, joked, and laughed during our interview, but also approached us with an aggressive idea. “Here’s what we have to pitch,” said Bibb. “Rob Corddry and I have to be on the cover. I’m just saying, you have to go big or go home.” Get more behind-the-scenes dish in the gallery!
Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning celebrated the premiere of their film Very Good Girls at the Sundance Film Festival with an after-party hosted by The Mint Agency, The Branding Be, and Simple Night at the Nur Khan Presents NK pop-up in Park City, Utah. In the film, Fanning (in Louis Vuitton) and Olsen play best friends who take a risky pact during the summer following their senior year—only to have their friendship tested in a big way. ”I’ve known Lizze for a while,“ Fanning told InStyle.com when she dropped by our portrait studio earlier that day. “We really, truly love each other and are close.“

The Sundance Film Festival isn’t just for movie screenings, panels, and lectures—it’s also a hot spot for celebrity-filled parties. Entourage star Adrian Grenier stopped by for a cup of joe in the Keratin Complex/Nine Zero One pop-up—where stars have been tending to their ‘dos before photo shoots—while Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes star Jessica Biel was one of many celebrities who stopped by the Variety Studio to participate in a discussion about her film. And Naomi Watts visited the Samsung Galaxy Lounge at the Village at the Lift, where the Two Mothers star tried out the brand’s new White Glove program and partook of cocktails served in her honor.

Felicity Jones wore a simple down ‘do to make her rounds at the Sundance Film Festival to promote her new film Breathe In, thanks to the help of celebrity hairstylist Marcus Francis. “Felicity has an ease to her style that’s very timeless and beautiful,” Francis told InStyle.com. “I thought her hair should be soft, full of body, and have that no fuss Sundance texture.” To create the look, he used a combination of Phytovolume Actif Spray ($28 at sephora.com) at the roots, with a small dollop of Rene Furterer Vegetal Mousse ($23 at beauty.com) on the mid-shaft and ends when hair was damp. He then dried her bangs using a 1/4″ Boars Head Round Brush, and teased the strands lightly to add subtle height. For the finishing touch, he added Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($39 at oribe.com) at the roots. “This gives movement from underneath the hair for lasting movement,” he said. Easy and gorgeous!

“I love the weather here, it’s so beautiful!” Jennifer Hudson told InStyle.com when she stopped by the InStyle pop-up portrait studio during the Sundance Film Festival to support her new film, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete. “I get to wear layers and everything!” And while she piled on the thermals and sweaters for her press tour, she kept her makeup minimal, and punched up her look with just one simple gloss: Chanel’s Rouge Allure Pure Shine Intense Color Long Wear Lip Gloss in #57, Insolence. “Today she dressed herself, so I just wanted to make her look like herself, just pretty, so we just put a pretty gloss on to hydrate her lips,” her makeup artist Shannon Pezzetta said of her look. Shop the color for $32 at chanel.com.
