Black Friday is quickly approaching! With just days to go until we join family and friends around the Thanksgiving table, news has come that you can start your Black Friday shopping on Thursday! Many stores will open their doors well before the tryptophan-induced haze has time to set in. And since the early bird gets the worm, Walmart and Sears will both open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, with Target following at 9 p.m. Meanwhile, Macy’s and Kohl’s will wait until midnight on November 23. To help you prep your Black Friday sales plan of attack, we’ve rounded up the times your favorite stores are set to open. The fall 2012 campaign season has been a star-studded one! Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart, and Mila Kunis have all lent their famous faces to their favorite fashion and beauty brands. Heidi Klum is the latest, striking a pose in candy apple denim for her return to Jordache. (The supermodel posed in 2007 when the denim makers decided to freshen their look, and is here again to promote their launch at Wal-Mart stores.) Wonder who else was tapped for next season’s ads? Norma Kamali is planning to expand…even more! The designer (inset), who is known for her swimwear, sleeping bag coats and goddess dresses (as seen here on Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City 2), told the crowd at the FashInvest’s Capital Conference last week in New York that she is working on a lower-price collection that will be exclusive to her Web site. Kamali, who already launched the successful NK for Walmart lower-priced line in 2008 (which she wore to the event), told InStyle exclusively, “The [new] collection is for those on a low budget and women who are simply smart shoppers with great style, who know how to mix high and low.” While Kamali is still in the early stages of creating the line and getting investors, it’s never too early to get excited for a lower-price designer collection—we can’t wait!
Miley Cyrus has again teamed up with BCBG designer Max Azria to create a second collection for Wal-Mart. While the newly-released promo shots offer only a glimpse of the line, the pieces we’ve seen so far—including this Dolman-sleeve top and these adorable printed shorts—are easy to love. Other must-haves? Softly-patterned button-downs, skinny black jeans and tiny rompers. And at these prices, we’ll be tempted to pick up the entire line when it hits Wal-Mart stores this fall. Click on the gallery for a sneak peek at the collection.
