Target and Neiman Marcus teamed up with 24 American designers for an exclusive holiday collection that will inject some major luxe into your life without going overboard, with prices ranging from $8 to $500. The complete collection comes out on December 1st, but we’re in the giving spirit and giving away five of the 50-plus pieces over the next five weeks! (As seen on page 100 of our December issue.) Nate Berkus is having quite a month—not only did he just release a new book, he’s also launching his collection for Target this weekend! First up, the book, a beautifully-crafted design tome that’s also part memoir, The Things That Matter ($21 at target.com). In it, he shares intimate stories from his life, introduces us to people who have influenced him, and gives us a peak inside his dreamy walk-in closet. “I never set out to tell my own story but as I worked on the book and went into people’s homes and learned about what mattered to them, and why…it only felt right to do the same,” Berkus tells InStyle.com. The book takes readers through photos of his childhood and family through to his present-day home which (spoiler alert!) is totally divine. That’s why we’re thrilled that he took his design expertise straight to Target, with his exclusive collection—think hammered copper, grommet-studded trays, and rich, vibrant color—landing in stores this Sunday. “The great thing about designing products is that I get to pull from all the things I love and find a place for them in the collection,” Berkus told us. “The end result is a line that feels layered and assembled over time, which is ultimately what our homes should feel like.” We agree!
