As much as we love a goes-with-everything solid button-down, there’s something exceptionally chic and of-the-moment about silky blouses in bold prints. Maybe it’s the fact that pretty much any pattern can be made seasonal (paired with denim cutoffs or swingy skirts in the summer, or with a sharp sweater, cropped trousers and perfect coat this fall), or maybe it’s simply due to the dizzying selection currently on the market, but we’ve been itching to wear a different printed blouse almost every day. From high street staples like ’70s-style panther-prints at Forever 21, to high-end splurges like Stella McCartney’s quirky monogram number, we compiled eight of the coolest printed blouses to buy and wear now!

“I love peplums!” Maria Menounos told InStyle.com when she showed off her peplum top at the L.A. launch of Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s charity, Tie the Knot. Her outfit for the bash was quick, easy, and simple—“it’s a little peplum action with cute pants, which I love,” she said—and most importantly, wallet-friendly. Her Forever 21 pants cost $17 (visit forever21.com for a list of stores), while her Zara top can be found for $99.90 at zara.com.

Los Angeles designer Rory Beca just released a line in collaboration with Forever 21 and it’s filled with irresistible pieces at great prices. “I wanted the line to be fun and versatile so that girls could have little party dresses or something to wear to work,” Beca (inset) told us at the New York launch. The lineup includes breezy satin dresses, embellished knits, and a boardwalk-ready romper, and each piece is under $30. Los Angeles fans of the designer should meet her at The Grove’s Forever 21 tonight (6 to 9 p.m.) for sweet treats, styling advice, and gifts with purchase, while supplies last.
