The countdown to spring is on here at InStyle, but if you’re anything like us, the harsh winter months have left you sporting dry, cracked skin and a less than glowy complexion. Ready to repair the damage? Keep reading. We reached out to dermatologist Dr. David Colbert, who has worked his illuminating magic on stars like Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Sienna Miller, and Michelle Williams, for all the skin-soothing secrets you’ll need. To begin the road to recovery before the temperatures rise, check out Colbert’s 10 must-haves for instant skin therapy (including picks from his very own line) and see what he had to say about each product in our gallery.
Bye-bye pink hair, hello red! While we were obsessing over the risky hair choices spotted at the Grammys last night, Sienna Miller made an equally-bold move over the weekend when she swapped her peachy-pink strands for a solid auburn hue. We haven’t seen this side of Miller in almost a decade — the last time she went for a similar effect was in 2004 when she unveiled a red-tinted brunette shade on the Oscars red carpet, but judging from the layered bangs, pixie cuts, and deep brown styles she has worn, it’s clear that the star has no reservations when it comes to trying out a new look. “I’m really not too attached to my hair,” she told InStyle previously. “If I worried about what people thought about my look, I’d get it all wrong.” Her adventurous attitude certainly paid off! We think the style is flattering on the star, and the warm hue is especially striking against her fair skin tone. When it comes to her latest hair change, it’s pretty clear that Sienna Miller was thinking pink! At the British Fashion Awards in London yesterday, the actress gave her blonde strands a rosy tint, and we loved how her new ‘do made a striking contrast against her emerald gown. Creative hair colors are a fun, edgy way to switch up your existing hue, and the trend is easy enough to create on yourself. If you have blonde hair like the star, a color-depositing conditioner like Evo’s Fabuloso ($40; evohair.com) can give your strands a statement shade that lasts a few days, but if you have darker hair or are on the market for something more temporary, a spray-on version like Eufora’s Creative Streak ($45 for set of three; eufora.net for locations) is your best bet. This isn’t the first time Miller got pretty in pink — back in 2011, she went for a similar rose gold effect before vacationing in Ibiza. We love that she decided to revisit the style — it’s even more chic the second time around.
While most of us are making Thanksgiving plans, Sienna Miller, Tom Sturridge, and Burberry are getting in the holiday spirit with the new Burberry With Love campaign and we have to admit, it’s making us want to get our wish lists ready! Posing alongside her real-life love, Miller shows off Burberry’s autumn/winter collection of evening gowns by donning the geometric metal strap dress while Sturridge keeps it cool with in a tuxedo paired with a leather jacket. The British couple’s ads are part of a global festive campaign (see the whimsical new video here) that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit, evoking scenes of holiday shopping during the winter season while wearing the brand’s coveted trench coats and scarves designed with the iconic tartan pattern. Burberry With Love is also launching an enhanced website experience that allows you to personalize your very own page with gifting suggestions and inspiration (also convenient to send along to others for ideas; hint, hint!). To get in the holiday spirit, scroll down to see more of the ads or visit burberry.com to get your wish list started.
Neil Patrick Harris did it again! The star of How I Met Your Mother hosted the Tony Awards for the fourth time last night, and his singing, dancing, rapping, and joking got the audience crowd to their feet inside Radio City Music Hall for the 67th anniversary of Broadway’s biggest night. But before his opening number ever kicked off, the actors, producers, playwrights, and presenters all made their way down the red carpet set up on the sidewalk of Sixth Avenue. The guest list offered a mix of theater-loving style stars (like presenter Scarlett Johansson in Saint Laurent), best-dressed plus-ones (like Debra Messing in Matthew Christopher supporting her nominated partner Will Chase and Sienna Miller in Burberry supporting her beau Tom Sturridge), and Broadway vets (like Judith Light, who handpicked her white Zac Posen gown straight from the designer). “He is remarkable,” Light said of Posen. “The first time I met him, he was so kind and so sweet to me, he really blew me away.” And she blew away Tony voters—Light walked away with the Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for her role as Faye in The Assembled Parties. Punk’s not dead—and the red carpet at last night’s 2013 Met Gala is proof! Celebrities stayed in line with this year’s Punk: Chaos to Couture theme with their rocker-chic sartorial choices, and we couldn’t help but notice the edgy hair and makeup looks they chose to match, as seen with Kristen Stewart‘s burgundy eye, Sienna Miller‘s spiked headband, Nicole Richie‘s snowy bouffant. Click through to see the 10 beauty moments that had us saying “wow.”
They’re back! After a three-year hiatus, Sienna Miller has decided to revisit her bangs, showing off her new brow-skimming fringe at the Tribeca Ball kicking off the Tribeca Film Festival this week. We haven’t seen this side of the star since 2010, and although she has famously sported her natural blonde hue for years, she’s no stranger to the occasional hair risk. Miller has been brunette, red, and even chopped 10 inches off her lengthy strands to play Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl. ”I’m really not too attached to my hair,” she told InStyle previously. “I never like to look too done or polished.” Do you like her bangs? Tell us!

Up-and-coming UK designer Erdem Moralioglu is really making an impression on some of Hollywood’s most stylish red carpet fixtures! Marion Cotillard wore one of his Pre-Fall 2013 designs for her appearance on Conan, Ashley Greene wore his Vivienne dress for a Breaking Dawn: Part 2 screening in South Africa, Rosamund Pike wore an asymmetrical dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection for the Tokyo premiere of her film Jack Reacher, and, most recently, Sienna Miller wore his youthful two-piece design at the Golden Globes, saying, “He’s really the hottest young designer coming out of England.” Moralioglu was born in Montreal in 1977 to a Turkish father and British mother, and spent his childhood split between his hometown and Birmingham, England. “When you see your clothes out of the context of a show, it’s really exciting,” Moralioglu has said of seeing his looks on the red carpet. And let’s not forget one of the designer’s earliest fans—The Duchess herself. What do you think of his work?
