Katie Holmes went for girly daytime pastels in Current/Elliott, Shenae Grimes gave her look some edge pairing her Alice + Olivia pants with studded boots and leather top, Minka Kelly added sex appeal with her bright peep-toes and Dolce & Gabbana florals, and Kristin Cavallari looked business meeting-ready by layering a black blazer over her saturated darker Joe’s jeans. 90210 co-stars Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes posed cheek to cheek at the RealReal/Chrysalis Charity Benefit held at Pici Enoteca in Beverly Hills. Grimes curated the event, which was set up in order to sell designer clothes donated to Closets for a Cause, with proceeds going to Chrysalis, a nonprofit organization that benefits homeless and low-income individuals. Why Shenae Grimes Wears Temporary Heart Tattoos on Her Face

90210 star Shenae Grimes changed up her makeup look recently by adding temporary face tattoos! The actress, who was in Japan when the March 11th earthquake and tsunami struck, paints a tiny black heart on her cheek to show support for the disaster’s victims as part of her Spread the Heart Movement. “Normally I spend $5 on a roll of film, but today I’m spreading my heart and donating that money to the Yoshiki Foundation for Japan’s aid and relief,” Grimes says in a video. “Where are your extra dollars going today? Spread your heart and let it be Japan.” Grimes showed her “heart” at the Scream 4 premiere last night (right), the College Television Awards on April 9th (top), and at Vans X Jesse Jo launch party on March 29th (bottom).

With all of the Hollywood party reporting we do, you can be sure that we know how to throw a fantastic one, too. Tonight we’re hosting our annual Summer Soiree, a kind of back-to-school bash where we catch up with old friends and meet some of Hollywood’s freshest new faces. This year’s crowd includes Emmy nominees Chris Colfer and Lea Michele, as well as newcomers like Amber Heard and Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, who will all mingle on the grounds of a private residence in the Hollywood Hills. Dylan’s Candy Bar and Crumbs Cupcakes will set out a sugary spread, BCBG and Oakley will offer guests some fashion goodies to take home, and no Summer Soiree would be complete without our legendary photo booth, where stars like Lily Collins, Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes let their hair down last year. While we’ll join in to toast to the end of the summer with a glass of champagne (or two), we’ll be up bright and early tomorrow to bring you the exclusive party details!

Mulberry’s Cool Girl Pool Party

Last night, Mulberry celebrated the launch of its Fall 2010 collection with some summertime fun, hosting a pool party for some of Hollywood’s most fashionable females at the storied Chateau Marmont. The stylish attendees included Alexa Chung (who even has a namesake bag by the label) looking cool in vintage cutoffs and a washed silk blouse and Kate Bosworth, who wore a graphic T-shirt with black skinny jeans. Cat Deeley, Molly Sims, 90210‘s Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup sipped Mulberry mojitos and took pictures with the brand-new Polaroid cameras strewn about, then Chung spun tunes (and Kelly Osbourne put in her own two musical cents) at the after-party at Bungalow 1. Bebe Takes On Beverly Hills 90210

The four stars of the CW’s hit 90210 remake have teamed up with Bebe on a line of clothes and accessories inspired by each of their characters. Expect to see sweet, feminine frocks for Midwestern-transplant types like Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes), edgy, fashion-forward accessories for sexier gals like Naomi Clark (AnnaLynne McCord), plus California-girl staples fit for the rest of the gang, Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Adrianna Tate-Duncan (Jessica Lowndes). Fittingly, the new collection will launch in conjunction with the third season premiere (airing this fall)—and you’ll probably spy more than a few of the looks on screen.
