With the 15th anniversary of Sex and the City rolling around, Carrie Bradshaw’s fashion legacy continues! After Sarah Jessica Parker spent a lot of time shopping for Manolos as Carrie in Sex and the City, she’s now taking her expertise to the design side. The star announced yesterday that she’s teaming up with Manolo Blahnik’s President George Malkemus to design a range of footwear, handbags, and trench coats that will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom starting next spring, with prices ranging from the $200s to $300s. “I have to know that we’re producing shoes I’m going to wear,” she told WWD. “I’m not going to try and sell someone shoes that aren’t going to be good enough for me to wear myself.” Parker is known for taking major fashion risks on and off screen, so if her personal style is any indicator, we’re hoping to see pieces in bold colors and even bolder prints. Stay tuned for more previews as the date approaches.

It’s a dream job for any budding fashionista—getting the part as Young Carrie Bradshaw on The CW’s Sex and the City spinoff , The Carrie Diaries. Ever since the show premiered in January and played every Monday at 8/7c, life has moved into the fast lane for star AnnaSophia Robb, especially when it comes to her fashion. “Working on the show has definitely influenced me,” the star told InStyle.com at the launch of H&M’s Denim Days in New York this weekend, noting that now she rolls her boyfriend jeans like the character Sarah Jessica Parker brought to life. And right now, she has plenty of time to soak up fashion lessons for her off-duty life. “When I’m at work, I’m working all the time. Then, on weekends, I’m going out to dinner and seeing movies,” she said. “Then, it’s back to work!”

Eric Daman’s run as the costume designer on Gossip Girl may be coming to a close—#tears for series finale countdown—but he’s not straying far from the CW’s tween-centric fan base. You’ll see Daman work more of his yes-you-love-everything-the-cast-wears magic for the upcoming series The Carrie Diaries, set to debut on the network this January, with AnnaSophia Robb on board to play a 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City prequel set in 1984 New York City. “This is similar to when we started Gossip Girl,” he told us at last night’s pilot episode premiere at the New York Television Festival. “With the kids on Gossip Girl, they all really grew together.” And we’ll see that in this show, too. (Robb is now 18; Lively was 20 when GG started.) Though, the ’80s dictates different looks. “In Gossip Girl, every episode was a giant fashion ball where we needed couture gowns. This isn’t like that. They’re very different eras. This New York is a much brighter kind of neon meets gritty. This is more of an independent film and we have to make everybody ‘80s-appropriate.” We’ll have to wait until January to see all of the fashion moments, but with Daman at the helm, we hope the clothes will be as fabulous as Carrie.

Yesterday we shared a sneak peek of AnnaSophia Robb on the set of The Carrie Diaries, and today the CW released the first official photo of the actress in full-on ’80s fashion as the young Carrie Bradshaw. Not only does Robb’s wavy blond ‘do remind us of Sarah Jessica Parker‘s signature look, she’s also wearing a tutu with heels—a similar style to the outfit Parker works in the opening credits of Sex and the City.  “WE ARE EXCITED,” The Carrie Diaries‘ costume designer Eric Daman tweeted in response to Robb’s official Carrie Bradshaw debut. Fun fact: Daman also works his fashion magic on the set of Gossip Girl. We can’t wait to see more of AnnaSophia’s Carrie outifts!
