History Repeats Itself: Victoria Beckham Returns to Her Posh Bob

As the saying goes, history tends to repeat itself, and Victoria Beckham‘s latest haircut has us wondering—is this the return of the Posh Bob? After visiting her hairstylist Tina Outen, the star took to Twitter to debut a more laid-back version of her iconic crop. Beckham has sported a lot of covetable hair choices since her years as a Spice Girl (check out her Transformation for proof!), but the asymmetrical “Pob” sticks out as the cut that launched a thousand chic recreations. “Someone told me it was the most-imitated style the other day, and I was just shocked,” she told InStyle previously. “It’s a huge compliment!” Beckham’s new haircut falls right in line with the bob trend Jennifer Lawrence and Christina Hendricks tried recently. And, although the look isn’t as graphic as her previous version, we think the choppy, tousled layers hold a cool, free-spirited vibe that is ripe for spring. Do you like her new look? Tell us!

Victoria Beckham Re-Releasing Some of Her Most Popular Designs

Victoria Beckham is re-releasing her favorites from the archives of her eponymous line! The collection, which she’s dubbed “Icon,” will include the most memorable from her designs both in their original forms and re-imagined in new colorways. “I introduced Icon in response to requests for designs from customers as far back as my first collection, and I wanted to find a way to offer them key dresses from the archive, but in newly reworked colours and fabrics,” Beckham said in a statement. “I am excited to revisit other archive designs as the Icon collection continues to grow.” Available exclusively on victoriabeckham.com starting next month, the collection includes seven dresses (starting at $1,600 each) from her very first spring 2009 season through present day.

The Spice Girls Musical Opens in London Tonight!

Calling all Spice fans: The wait is finally over! In June, we reported that a Spice Girls musical was in the works, and the show officially opens tonight on London’s West End, with all five members of the group expected to attend the premiere! Viva Forever follows a group of four musically-inclined girlfriends on their journey to stardom, and features the nineties pop phenomena’s most iconic hits (think “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life”). “My waterproof mascara [is] going on,” Emma Bunton, or Baby Spice, tweeted. “I think there might be tears tonight!” The feeling is mutual! Viva Forever’s performances begin tonight at London’s Picadilly Theatre, with shows scheduled to run until June 1, 2013. We’re definitely adding a trip across the Atlantic to our holiday wish list!

Valentino’s British Bash with Beckham and More Parties!

Valentino Garavani officially opened the exhibit honoring his life and more than five decades in fashion, “Valentino: Master of Couture” at the Somerset House in London! The party matched the Italian designer’s level of fabulousness, with stars like Victoria Beckham (in her own design), Sarah, Duchess of York, and Princess Beatrice all in attendance. The exhibit displays Valentino’s most iconic couture pieces, including over 130 hand-crafted designs worn by style icons such as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Grace Kelly, and InStyle cover girl Gwyneth Paltrow. David Beckham Strips Down in New H&M Bodywear Ads!

There’s nothing like sexy shots of David Beckham to really heat up an otherwise normal (and chilly) Thursday afternoon! H&M has just released the black-and-white images of the soccer star modeling his second underwear, er, Bodywear collection for the Swedish retailer, and there’s nothing underwhelming about them. The photos show Mr. Victoria Beckham in holiday pieces from his cozy-looking eponymous line, including hoodies, drawstring pants, and henleys—but we’ll be honest and admit that we’re focusing on the impressive abs and tattooed skin underneath. Back in 2006, Beckham allegedly insured his entire body for a whopping $195 million—the largest insurance policy in all of sports history—and these H&M images are quite the reminder why!
