One of our favorite funny girls, Lena Dunham, is set to host Saturday Night Live for the first time tonight! While rehearsing for her upcoming gig, Dunham shared this photo on Instagram from the studio alongside SNL cast members Aidy Bryant, Sasheer Zamata, and Vanessa Bayer. ”Girl pile in Studio 8H,” the star captioned the image of the smiling ladies. The Girls creator is a self-proclaimed SNL superfan, and it seems like she can’t wait to host the show. ”Thank you for the SNL love. Dream come true,” Dunham tweeted of her hosting debut. Be sure to tune in tonight March 8 at 11:30 p.m. EST on NBC to watch the show—if the series of promos are any indication, you won’t want to miss it! Want more Lena Dunham? She’s back, well sort of! Tina Fey is kicking off the 39th season of Saturday Night Live as the host along with special musical guest Arcade Fire and just today, Fey and cast member Kenan Thompson launched several new funny promos that you should definitely make time to watch (Fey even mocks her alleged Emmys wardrobe malfunction)! Fey just celebrated her Emmy Awards win for Outstanding Writing in a comedy series for 30 Rock along with fellow writer, Tracey Wigfield, and she just might (our fingers are crossed!) return to host the 2014 Golden Globes with her comedic partner-in-crime, Amy Poehler. Tune in Saturday, September 28th on NBC for the 39th premiere which will also feature the new co-anchor to Weekend Update, Cecily Strong. Plus, scroll down to watch the five promos with Tina Fey!

Congratulations, Bill Hader! Today, the actor and comedian got an Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on Saturday Night Live. While the show beat ER‘s record as the most award-nominated show in Emmy History, Eddie Murphy and Bill Hader were the only cast members to receive nods — and this is Hader’s second year being recognized! Celebrations are definitely in order, and we’re sure his character Stefon would know exactly where to go. Would he opt for the Your Mother and I Are Separating club, located in a burned-down Red Lobster, or is trance-themed Wesh currently New York’s hottest spot? Stefon’s last appearance on SNL took place back in May when Hader left the show, but it’s clear that the legacy of the Weekend Update correspondent lives on, as we’re still laughing at his hilarious nightlife recommendations, club kid style choices, and quotable moments. “If you’re looking to have fun and get hurt, New York’s hottest club is Selfie,” Hader said during an appearance. “When it comes to spring break, this club has everything: Chutes, ladders, the outdoor concert from the Zoloft commercial.” Congratulations again, Bill! The nomination is so well-deserved. Plus, scroll down to check out Stefon’s very first appearance on Saturday Night Live.
The Hangover boys Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helms had the nation in stitches after their hilarious impersonations of Jennifer Aniston—and her famous hair!—for the Jennifer Aniston Look-alike Competition skit on Saturday Night Live last week. So, when we caught up with the superstar at the launch for her Living Proof’s new web series, we had to find out what she thought of their work. “I thought it was very funny,” Aniston told InStyle.com. “I’ve never been imitated before. I remember watching and going, ‘Is that what I do? Do I do that?’ It was hysterical.” Scroll down to watch the skit and laugh along. More
Andy Samberg had all eyes on him yesterday when he hosted the Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, and for such an important moment—his intro was hilarious, as to be expected—he teamed up his “fashion advice giver” stylist Sam Spector to get his look just right. “I feel more like Rod Stewart than Robert Pattinson,” the host joked of his outfit, which combined a David Hart suit (in Color of the Year emerald green), Thomas Pink shirt, and Piaget cufflinks. What’s his secret to looking so dapper? “My dapper is on my body!” he said. “I transport the dapper onto my body and then I usher it through the carpet area.” Nice work! Seth McFarlane, are you listening?

Adam Levine is making the jump from music to comedy! The Voice mentor and frontman of rock band Maroon 5 will host NBC’s Saturday Night Live, airing live from New York’s Rockefeller Plaza tonight at 11:30 EST. It’s Levine’s first time ever hosting the comedy sketch program, and they’ve already put him to work this week: he stars in a hilarious new digital short alongside fellow comedy crooner Andy Samberg. The musical guest for the evening is up-and-coming rapper Kendrick Lamar, in a fellow first-time appearance. Tune in tonight to see the combination musical-comedy action in all its glory!

Jennifer Lawrence is on a roll! The Academy Award nominated actress and Golden Globe winner has now set her sights on Saturday Night Live! And from the looks of her promo alongside SNL’s newly engaged star, Jason Sudeikis, Lawrence is set to bring her candid humor to the small-screen tonight. “First a Golden Globe and now this? I don’t even know who to thank!” Lawrence jokes in the video, which you can watch it above. Watch Lawrence continue to flex her comedic chops when she hosts SNL with musical guests The Lumineers tonight at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.

Seth Meyers knows a good suit when he sees one, and his signature Saturday Night Live Weekend Update look is a favorite he wears beyond the Rockefeller Center set. ”This is the same one I wear on Weekend Update!” the funnyman told InStyle.com of the dapper look he wore to last night’s 12-12-12 Concert benefiting the Robin Hood Foundation’s Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. We already know Seth is a fan of the repeat: he told InStyle.com in October that he’s worn the same tie for two years. “I’m a real creature of habit,” he said. What would Stefon think?
