What’s better than turning 100? Turning 111! Bergdorf Goodman celebrated its birthday last night with a mega-bash at The Plaza, located across from its famous Fifth Avenue and 58th Street flagship. The New York design world came out for the retailer’s “111 Years of Extraordinary”-themed party, with designers and their muses covering every inch of the ballroom in the most extraordinary garb. The standouts included Coco Rocha in a Zac Posen bordeaux satin gown, rising style star Rita Ora in an old Hollywood-inspired white look by Emilio Pucci’s Peter Dundas, and Karolina Kurkova, who wore a Roberto Cavalli suit done in one of the label’s signature exotic prints. Other designer attendees included Thakoon Panichgul, Carolina Herrera, and Michael Kors. And, as if there weren’t enough showstoppers with the fashion alone, classical singer Sasha Lazard stopped by the party to perform “Happy Birthday” while a giant three-tiered cake—flaming with fireworks—was rolled on to the dance floor. Way to throw one “extraordinary” celebration, Berdgorf! Click through the gallery below for more photos from this week’s hottest parties.
Rita Ora is pop’s new party girl—just listen to her hit “How We Do”—and her style reflects her fun music. “My music has so many varieties; it’s a little bit for everyone, and I mix my outfits in the same way,” the British singer told InStyle.com at the Absolut Tune launch in New York. “Sometimes I come out looking kind of boyish, like tonight, and sometimes I come out looking like a complete hip-hop ’90s baby, complete with beanie.” Menswear-inspired or not, the look was all designer, including an Emilio Pucci jacket, Roberto Cavalli blouse, Wes Gordon leggings, and Manolo Blahnik pumps, and Jennifer Fisher rings. Overall, though, she said: “My style is always different.“

Here’s one celebrity look we’re coveting for fall: Kristen Stewart’s high-shine Roberto Cavalli blazer that she donned at the Teen Choice Awards. Instead of your basic black and gray, try a jacquard, sequined or organza jacket to really standout. Pair it with leather pants or a classic pencil skirt for an ultra-chic fall look. We love this sequined polka-dot jacket from Zara—pick it up at zara.com for $129 and click through the gallery for more star-inspired fall pieces.

Blue Ivy Carter has a closet of designer baby gear! This week, Beyoncé took a walk with her little one in New York City, where the tot was spotted in silver Marc Jacobs mouse flats and a Roberto Cavalli baby bottle holder. The Cavalli store in NYC has been fielding calls from people wanting to buy the item ever since Bey was spotted with it; though the salespeople assured us it is only available in Europe. As for the pint-size shoes, they are sold out, but a similar Little Marc style is available for $70 on zappos.com.
