Rachel Zoe previewed her resort 2014 collection this week—the clothes she will release in stores this winter—and it’s full of options fit for Rachel’s boho-glam style with a nautical twist. Inspired by St. Barth’s, the island she jets off to for winter vacations with Rodger and Skyler, the pieces all have a very easy, relaxed, seaside feel, from striped short suits to rope belts to relaxed boyfriend-style denim. “This Resort season is all about contrast—juxtaposing and reinventing polished nautical pieces with contemporary edge,” Zoe said. “It’s a very versatile collection.” Of course, Rachel Zoe’s trademark motifs make an appearance. The stylist-turned-designer showed her love strong tailoring, maxi skirts, and wide-brimmed hats, the latter by cleverly incorporating the accessory in a beach-friendly straw style (shown above). What brings Ashley Greene, Freida Pinto, Eva Mendes, Emma Roberts, and Minka Kelly together on a Tuesday afternoon? A great fashion show. And they got one, as celebrity-favorite Italian label Salvatore Ferragamo touched down in New York yesterday to present its 2012 resort collection. Held in the classic James B. Duke Mansion on Fifth Avenue, creative director Massimiliano Giornetti paraded sleek suits, sailor chic looks, and glamorous gowns reminiscent of the 1930s down the runway. A palette of white, ivory, shades of blue, and metallics stretched across the clothes, shoes, and bags—some with chain detail—while Fred Leighton provided the fine jewelry that accessorized the looks. Every piece of the presentation, from the clothes to the venue, emitted elegance. Click through to see more stars in the front row and the complete runway presentation.

Adam Lippes offered a sweet mix of casual and dressy for his ADAM resort 2012 collection. Subtle pastel hues of mint green, slate gray, and rose pink gave cotton terrycloth tops and pants a fancier touch. The sherbet colors continued on blouses, dresses, and skirts, with one top featuring a black, peach, and white graphic inspired by the artwork of German artist Imi Knoebel (right). For night, Lippes’ embellished pieces ranged from all-over sequins to dressed-up sportier looks. Plus, a white dress here and there seemed perfect for a lovely beach wedding.
