The NFL Kick-Off Concert: Mariah, Gwen, and Queen Latifah Sing!

We learned two things last night: Gwen Stefani is forever “Just A Girl,” and Mariah Carey remains a living, breathing “Fantasy.” The two divas belted their hearts out at Rockefeller Center as part of the NFL Kick-Off Concert leading up to the opening night game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys (where the Cowboys won 24-17!). Stefani brought back those infamous slouchy plaid pants (and rockin’ abs) from her 90s heyday as the lead singer of No Doubt (their new album comes out September 25), while MC brought down the house in a sparkling black minidress. Queen Latifah also made an appearance prior to the big game, where she sang the National Anthem. The ladies really ruled the field last night.

Queen Latifah’s New HSN Line Launches Tomorrow

Queen Latifah is headed to HSN this weekend! The singer, rapper, and actress will appear live on the television channel for the first time Saturday to debut her line. “With this collection, you have the opportunity to mix and match the items with your own style to make it your own,” Latifah told InStyle.com of the lineup, which includes pieces priced under $270. Each style, including this $109.90 draped dress, is available in sizes 2 to 24, as a range of sizes were crucial to Latifah’s design process. ”I see slim girls, big girls, curvy girls, and everyone in it—this line is for everyone,” she explained. “I want to respect women and what they wear, so they feel confident. And now that the temperatures dropped, we caught up with the gorgeous celebrities at the CoverGirl 50th anniversary party in Los Angeles last night to find out their winter beauty secrets. “Always a little concealer,” Drew Barrymore told us of her signature beauty look (no matter the season!). “And always a ton of cover up stuff.” Although Barrymore, who wore a Jil Sander dress, Hunting Season clutch and a Lucifer vir Honestus ring, said it goes beyond that. “But, beauty is within. I don’t care if you’re the most attractive person on the planet. If you’re not good on the inside, it will show. Tune In Tonight: Idol Gives Back!

American Idol‘s charity show “Idol Gives Back” returns for the third time tonight, and the special 2-hour episode promises a packed roster of star-studded live performances. This week’s Idol mentor Alicia Keys will join Elton John, Carrie Underwood, Mary J. Blige and the Black Eyed Peas on two different stages (Ryan Seacrest hosts the American Idol stage while Queen Latifah emcees another).
