Clive Christian Launching Fragrance for Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth‘s Jubilee may not be until June, but famed perfumer Clive Christian is already excited for the celebration! To honor her 60 years on the throne, Christian, who previously created a his-and-hers fragrance set for Prince William and Kate Middleton, will release a special edition of his No. 1 Perfume, aptly named “Imperial Jubilee.” Unlike the original No. 1, this edition contains a higher concentration of perfume, making the scent richer—and fit for the Queen! Only 500 bottles will be released, priced at a cool $1,300. But if you can’t wait until June, check out the original No. 1 Perfume ($865; saks.com) on sale now. Sidenote: This isn’t the first beauty brand to fete Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee: Butter London is also launching a shiny silver nail polish in just in time for the festivities. Butter London to Launch a Queen-Inspired Nail Polish!

In honor of Queen Elizabeth‘s Diamond Jubilee, which celebrates her 60 years on the throne, Butter London is releasing a limited-edition nail polish inspired by her majesty! The sparkly pewter lacquer, aptly named Lillibet’s Jubilee, isn’t the brand’s first royal nail polish—they also released the glittery purple No More Waity, Katie ($14 at nordstrom.com) shortly after Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement. Queen Elizabeth Kicks Off Diamond Jubilee in Diamonds

Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her diamond anniversary on the throne this year—her 60th!—and kicked off celebrations at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London last night. Fittingly, she wore lots of diamonds for the service, including one of her favorite tiaras, known as the “Girls of Great Britain.” The silver crown is an heirloom, as it was a present to Queen Mary on her wedding day from the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland, hence its name, and was creatively designed so it could also be worn as a necklace. (What a necklace that would be!) The piece will be going on display as part of the “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration” exhibition of Queen Elizabeth’s most famous jewels, which opens at Buckingham Palace this summer. Royal Diamonds to Go On Display!

To honor Queen Elizabeth’s 60th year on the throne—her diamond anniversary—the monarchy will open several exhibitions throughout 2012. One of note: “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration,” set to open at Buckingham Palace this summer, which will feature the Queen’s vast collection of the anniversary’s signature stone. The exhibition will explore “the many ways in which diamonds have been used by British monarchs over the last 200 years,” the Palace wrote. One showstopper will be a rare 23.6-carat pink diamond by Cartier, set in a brooch with 200 smaller diamonds, which was presented to the Queen in 1953, WWD reports. Talk about bling! Queen Elizabeth II has gone down under! Her Royal Highness and husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, ventured to Australia for a ten-day tour, as the country is part of the British monarchy. The spry 85-year-old trekked all around the nation looking polished in a rainbow of pastels and florals. (She even recycled the sunny yellow outfit she wore earlier this year to grandson Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s royal wedding, above right.)
