Pippa Middleton put her skiing skills to good use! Yesterday, the royal-in-law completed Sweden’s famous Vasaloppet race, a 56-mile cross-country skiing marathon. Middleton came in 412th out of nearly 15,000 skiers, with a time of 7 hours and 13 minutes, InStyle UK reports. Way to go, Pip! The race was for a good cause: she raised money for Magic Breakfast, a non-profit organization that delivers free, healthy meals to children in need.

Pippa Middleton to Ski for Charity

Pippa Middleton is putting her skiing skills to good use! The 28-year-old is in Stockholm, Sweden right now training (in a red ski jacket and black snow pants) for the Vasaloppet race, one of the world’s most popular skiing events, the Washington Post reports. She’ll complete 56-mile cross-country skiing marathon with her brother, James Middleton, and more than 15,000 other skiers on Sunday, March 4th. And it’s all for a good cause: she’s raising money for Magic Breakfast, a non-profit organization that delivers free, healthy meals to children in need. Good luck, Pip!

Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) looked gorgeous in her Vera Wang wedding gown on last night’s episode of Gossip Girl, but did Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) pull a Pippa and upstage the bride? Maybe, according to the show’s costume designer Eric Daman, who had the royal sister-in-law in mind when he picked out Serena’s Vera Wang maid of honor look. “I turned around and saw this beautiful pink chiffon gown, it was actually a bridal dress. It looked like peonies to me,” Daman told us of how he chose Serena’s style. “In old-world weddings, the bridesmaids would be wearing gowns, while the maid of honor would be wearing something a bit more glamorous.
