Pippa Middleton in the Issa Dress That Won’t Quit

May 21, 2012 @ 11:45 am

The royal blue Issa dress Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made famous when she announced her engagement to Prince William in November 2010 is back again! This time, it’s on her little sister. Pippa Middleton chose the same flattering wrap design to attend her friend’s wedding in Scotland this weekend, only in a raspberry red color, and added a matching black and rose floral fascinator. Ironically, when Issa reissued the design in the different hue, the label made a nod to the elder Middleton’s big moment, naming it “Royal Engagement Dress” (available for $555 at net-a-porter.com). Of course, Pippa could have chosen any other look, but why mess with a good thing, right?

Pippa Middleton Tries the Color-Blocking Trend

Apr 25, 2012 @ 9:30 am

Look who’s color blocking! Following in the footsteps of celebrities like Freida Pinto, Emily Blunt, and Sarah Jessica Parker, Pippa Middleton worked the vibrant look on her way to a hair appointment. The royal-in-law paired Paper London’s Mondrian-inspired sweater (currently sold out online) with Goldsign’s dark denim “Lure” skinny jeans ($240 at dianiboutique.com), topping off the style with her signature Modalu bag in black leather. Pippa Middleton went to Paris this weekend! The jet-setting royal-in-law strolled through the City of Light in her go-to pieces, like a white lace H&M dress, top handle Modalu bag, and quilted leather Whistles jacket. She also packed a surprise look for a costume party on Saturday night, a magenta bow-covered canary tunic, which she accessorized with lace leggings, gold pumps, and a Lamb 1887 clutch. Kate and Pippa’s Fashion Double Takes

Mar 20, 2012 @ 1:20 pm

Kate and Pippa Middleton are a year and a half apart; but when it comes to fashion choices, they might as well be twins. They gravitate not just to similar clothing (they are sisters, after all) but to identical styles. Check out the pair as they mirror each other’s day looks (bright denim and turtleneck dresses), and preferences in cuts, patterns and colors (they love their sapphire!).

How to Wear Colored Jeans Like a Celebrity

Colored jeans—from pastel to bright—are an easy, affordable, and versatile way to incorporate spring’s big color trend into your wardrobe. The look offers a playful edge to your everyday pieces, and you can dress it up with a blazer, like Duchess Catherine and sister Pippa Middleton, or go casual like Zoe Saldana and Camila Alves. Don’t be afraid to pair bright denim with a colorful top—an  equally bold blouse creates a fun color-block effect. See how more celebrities wear colored denim in the gallery, and get inspiration for how to brighten up your next outfit.

Minka Kelly Wears Kate Spade’s Middleton-Inspired ‘Pippa’ Dress

Mar 15, 2012 @ 4:40 pm

Banana Republic isn’t the only retailer to roll out a Middleton-inspired “Pippa” dress this spring. Minka Kelly stopped by the L.A. launch party for Brad Goreski’s new book, Born to Be Brad, in a floral Kate Spade design named for the royal-in-law ($478 at katespade.com). While the style isn’t based on one particular Pippa Middleton look, we could easily see her adding it to her closet full of printed, waist-defining, v-neck dresses.
