We loved host Kaley Cuoco’s super-feminine look at the People’s Choice Awards, and we’ve got exclusive insider access to her pre-show primping party! Celebrity Makeup Artist Jamie Greenberg, using mark products, told us the inspiration for the look: it was all about girly mod. “We channeled Sophia Loren and Barbie,” Greenberg told InStyle.com. “We had the best time ever! Kaley made these pink sweatshirts for us that said ‘Touchdown’ on the back and we brought t-shirts that said ‘Team Cuoco.’” We asked her how she gave Cuoco that pitch-perfect rosy complexion with a hint of shimmer. “I started by applying mark Min-A-Real Cream-to-Powder Foundation in Light Medium 5 ($18; meetmark.com) all over Kaley’s face, layering on Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes Face Palette ($16; meetmark.com), and Just Blushing Powder Blush in Lovespell ($9; meetmark.com) to create a gorgeous natural glow.” Click through the gallery for more exclusive photos and to see how to get the look!
Simplicity ruled at last night’s People’s Choice Awards! Celebrities walked the red carpet in monochromatic black and white, including Heidi Klum in an embellished Julien Macdonald design, Taylor Swift in a white Ralph Lauren Sheath, Jennifer Aniston in a leather Christian Dior dress, and Jennifer Lawrence in Valentino. Ginnifer Goodwin is a poster girl for short hair—but not for long. The actress, who famously has wig clauses in her contracts so she can cut her hair freely, is growing it out. “I’m at a very awkward in-between stage,” she told us at the People’s Choice Awards. “It’s a glorious thing to have professionals who can help me through that process.” So, what look is she going for? “I’m thinking about a little ‘20s bob. I want to change it up. I’ve had short hair for so long.” And she does have one trick: “I wear a lot of hats in between,” she said. “It’s all about hats!” Tell us: Have you ever grown out your hair?
