This isn’t your average moto jacket. Olivia Munn was spotted taking a break from filming her latest movie Mortdecai in a block printed leather jacket that single-highhandedly turned her outfit from ordinary to extraordinary. And who’s to thank for this on-trend transformation? Stylist Dani Stahl and contemporary designer Martí, who collaborated together on an exclusive collection that launched in select Calypso St. Barth stores and calypsostbarth.com yesterday. The designing duo united their passion for leather and funneled it into a holiday line-up of three statement pieces that encompass unique silhouettes and Calypso’s signature designs. Zhush up your own tee-and-jeans uniform and snag the one-of-a-kind leather topper for $1,150 at calypsostbarth.com.
Wear your heart on your sleeve, or in Olivia Munn‘s case, wear your heart around your neck. The Newsroom actress was spotted in New York City sporting a bar gold-plated necklace engraved with “Joel,” the name of beau Joel Kinnaman. Emma Roberts took a different route, personalizing hers with her first and middle name: Emma Rose. Follow their suit and inscribe your name (or boyfriend’s), a favorite word, symbols or even a string of random letters (up to 10 characters) on a Lola James “Alter Ego” bar ID necklace. At $125 a pop, snag one in gold, silver or rose gold at lolajamesjewelry.com.

Out with a bang! It was the dress everyone was talking about at Milly‘s New York Fashion Week show, and designer Michelle Smith knows exactly which celeb she wants to see wearing the final look from her spring 2014 collection. “Olivia Munn,” the designer told InStyle.com before the show. “She’s hot!” Hot enough to sizzle in the black honeycomb, bustier dress and neoprene short combo that ended a range of mesh pieces paired with bright, ladylike underpinnings (neon bralettes and shorts dominated). “I was inspired by the traditional notion of femininity, “ Smith explained. “But I mixed it in a very modern way through the use of very interesting technological fabrics, new silhouettes and transparencies.” So Munn, get ready to stun — Smith is certain her last look will be red carpet fabulous!

The jumpsuit look isn’t going anywhere — and the stars at Comic-Con 2013 proved it with Jane Levy (in Saloni), Zoe Saldana (in Balmain) and Olivia Munn (in black and white polka dots). Admittedly, the all-in-one is tricky to pull off, but done right, it can look sophisticated, and actually very sexy. For a perfect playsuit, the silhouette is undeniably important: Make sure the fit is comfortably tailored that cinches at the waist to outline your figure (that means, no scrunching in too-tight areas). Be sure to pick playful prints and bold hues to make it stand out, and then keep all other accessories to a minimum so your main piece can take center stage. Need more convincing? The Time 100 Gala, held to celebrate the magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world, took over New York’s Lincoln Center last night! It was quite the star-packed affair, with celebrities including Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel (both in Tom Ford), Claire Danes (in Lanvin), Girls creator Lena Dunham (in Saint Laurent), Michael Kors, and Olivia Munn (in a dress by the designer) mixing and mingling at the event. The festivities included performances by Miguel and Christina Aguilera, as well as a rousing speech by Vice President Joe Biden who asserted to the audience, “This list is unified by a simple belief that it’s all about basically not being told it can’t be done.” Click the photo to see more.
When Tommy Hilfiger opened his Los Angeles flagship this spring, it wasn’t just a night dedicated to socializing with his celebrity friends like Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lopez, and Julianne Hough. The milestone was also the launch of the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation’s partnership with P.S. ARTS to endow and develop a multi-year arts education curriculum in two Los Angeles schools, Walgrove Elementary School and Grand View Elementary. The Hilfiger-funded program will help students with autism and other special needs achieve their full academic and career potential by providing over 950 students with ongoing, weekly arts classes. “[My wife] Dee and I are passionate about programs that make sure families dealing with issues like lack of access to medical care and education have access to the resources they need,” Hilfiger told InStyle.com, adding that he’s thrilled to help students by providing “dynamic and innovative learning environments.” And his celebrity fans were happy to throw their support behind the cause. ”I love that [Tommy Hilfiger] advocates for children’s education,” Alba told InStyle.com. “I just love that they support those issues.” Visit psarts.org to learn more about the program, and see more exclusive photos from inside the opening on page 110 of May’s new InStyle issue—also available on your iPad, Nook, or Droid tablet.
