Nicole Kidman Wore a L’Wren Scott Dress Hours After It Walked the Runway at London Fashion Week

L’Wren Scott held her fashion show during London Fashion Week for the first time ever on Sunday—and no one liked it more than Nicole Kidman. Just a few hours after this curve-hugging cerulean sheath with an embellished gold collar hit the runway, the actress pulled the look to wear at a special screening of her new film, Stoker, in London that evening. The bold design also scored Kidman a nod in our Look of the Day lineup. The perks of being a celebrity!

Sundance Film Festival Update: Nicole, Leslie, Jane, and More!

The InStyle portrait studio at the Grey Goose Blue Door Lounge in Park City, Utah was another hot pit stop for the stars of the Sundance Film Festival! Nicole Kidman rested her feet (wrapped in Belstaff boots) on one of our leather couches in between shots to promote her new movie Stoker, and left just before the hilarious cast of Afternoon Delight swung by, including Josh Radnor, Kathryn Hahn, and Jane Lynch (who photobombed our Instagram shot and Tweeted during her photo shoot). But the ones who had us doubled over in stitches were the stars of Hell Baby, Leslie Bibb and Rob Corddry, who not only sang, joked, and laughed during our interview, but also approached us with an aggressive idea. “Here’s what we have to pitch,” said Bibb. “Rob Corddry and I have to be on the cover. G’Day USA Gala: Australian Love With Hugh, Naomi, Nicole, and More!

Santa Monica got down under for the annual G’Day USA Black Tie Gala, where Aussie stars turned out in full force to honor their homeland. Nicole Kidman (who debuted a new ‘do in Elie Saab), Hugh Jackman (in Louis Vuitton), and Naomi Watts (in Gucci) were all on-hand to honor their country at the event, which is an awards ceremony honoring some of the nation’s best and brightest. “We get ready pretty quickly,” Kidman told reporters of her party prep routine. “Because we have a two-year-old and a four-year-old who are always like, ‘Mommy, I want this! Mommy, I want that!’” Damages actress Rose Byrne was amongst those awarded this year, and supermodel Elle Macpherson was the emcee for the night.

Nicole Kidman on Her New Shorter Hairstyle and Her Daughters’s Fashion Influence

At last night’s G’Day USA Gala in Los Angeles, Nicole Kidman debuted a drastic new ‘do. “I thought I’d have short hair for a change!” she told InStyle.com. “Kerry Warn, my hairdresser, did it!” She still has at least one more big reveal in store for the Golden Globes. While describing her style as “classic with a twist,” the double nominee—for her work in The Paperboy and Hemingway & Gellhorn—remained coy on her dress. “I can’t go there… yet!” Though her kids clearly have some influence: Daughters Sunday Rose and Faith helped select her Elie Saab dress for last night’s event. “They love this! They thought I was a princess. This is Sunday Rose’s favorite dress of all time, so that’s why I’m wearing it.” Can’t wait to see what the girls picked out for her Globes moment!
