Nicki Minaj is launching a fragrance! The rap superstar’s first scent will roll out to stores this fall. “I designed the bottle and scent with by Barbz in mind,” Minaj told WWD of her new venture. And if her colorful wardrobe and high-octane hair hues are anything to go by, we’re expecting to see a bottle decked out in the boldest of colors. This isn’t Minaj’s first foray into beauty—the rapper launched a line of nail polishes with OPI last year, along with two MAC lipsticks. So, would you wear Minaj’s scent? Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin for MAC: Now Available

Makeup giant MAC enlisted pop stars Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin to create new lip products for its Viva Glam campaign—like Fergie and Lady Gaga did in the past—and the items just hit shelves today. Minaj appropriately released a bright Barbie pink ($14.50), while Martin created a clear lip balm ($15). All proceeds benefit the MAC AIDS Fund, which supports people living with HIV and AIDS. The cause hits close to home for Minaj, whose uncle passed away from an AIDS-related illness. “I have such a young fan base, and I want them to be aware of this issue now because I love them so much,” the rapper told Good Morning America. Super Bowl Fashion: Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. Designers’ Surprising Reaction!

Over 111.35 million viewers tuned in to watch the Super Bowl last Sunday, but Erickson Beamon’s Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon, who designed Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.‘s elaborate half-time show headpieces, had other things on their minds. We caught up with the duo at their fall 2012 presentation to ask them what it felt like to see their jewelry on the most-watched show in TV history, and they seemed surprisingly unfazed. “I was busy working on this,” Karen Erickson said, referring to Erickson Beamon’s new ready-to-wear line. “What I did I did, and now it’s about what I’m going to do.” Vicki Beamon had a slightly more excited reaction. “We kind of knew it was going to happen,” she told InStyle.com. “We had a really big year.”

Madonna’s Super Bowl Half-Time Show: What Did You Think?

What a show! Madonna scored big with her half-time show during last night’s Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. Her 12-minute set—in which she dressed in head-to-toe Givenchy, Bulgari earrings, and a Philip Treacy headdress—included some of her biggest hits, like “Vogue,” “Music,” “Express Yourself,” mixed in with her new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’” featuring cheerleaders M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, and even a Material Girl-remix of “Party Rock Anthem” with LMFAO. For her finale, she performed “Like a Prayer,” joined by a choir and Cee Lo Green. “People say everything has a limit, but limits do not exist with Madonna,” said Givenchy Haute Couture designer Riccardo Tisci, who created all of her looks for the show.
