Runway Looks We Love: Narciso Rodriguez

Sep 15, 2011 @ 9:00 am

Narciso Rodriguez’s spring 2012 collection was filled with clean, crisp and modern looks. Moments of intense orange interjected into the palette of white, black, aqua and silver, colors that also showed up in the brushed-back hairstyles covered in purple, sky blue, and tangerine hues. Sheer fabrics pieced together to create a chic effect, and bright bras peeked out for a sporty-meets-sexy feel. Asymmetrical hemlines finished the collection’s perfect slip dresses. Mar 22, 2011 @ 2:01 pm

Reese Witherspoon
turns 35 today, and to celebrate, we’ve rounded up some of her hottest style moments!
Off duty, she’s the master of relaxed, cool-mom street style. But when she hits the red carpet, it’s striking gowns and flirty (but never too sexy) strapless dresses. “I admire Reese’s confidence in her personal style and her decisions,” says designer Narciso Rodriguez of the Water for Elephants star. “She knows exactly what to wear.” Click through the gallery to see five of Witherspoon’s best-ever looks.

Runway Looks We Love: Narciso Rodriguez

Feb 16, 2011 @ 4:38 pm

Narciso Rodriguez‘ fall 2011 line was clean and structured with a few breezy, light-as-air dresses thrown into the mix. The collection played with geometric shapes, and paint-splattered prints added shots of pink and lavender. We loved the designer’s classic coats. Plus, the models wore flats! Click through the gallery to see the our favorite Narciso Rodriguez fall 2011 looks.

What Happens Leading Up to Fashion Week? Watch The Day Before

Sep 4, 2010 @ 1:27 pm

With Fashion Week rapidly approaching, the Sundance Channel will return with their series, The Day Before, to remind us of all the pre-show madness. The miniseries, which will air from September 8 to September 13, will feature six designers—Diane Von Furstenberg, Versace, Alexander Wang, Narciso Rodriguez, Nina Ricci and Jeremy Scott—on the eve of their Fall 2010 runway shows. We’re especially looking forward to self-described “drama queen” Donatella Versace’s episode (airing Sept. 9), where we’ll get to see the house of Versace prepare for their extravagant runway show in Milan. “It’s time to question everything,” says Versace of her looming show. “It’s torture!” Check out the teaser clip above. Sneak Peek: Narciso Rodriguez’s eBay Collection

Feb 11, 2010 @ 12:00 am

Narciso Rodriguez’s capsule collection for eBay launches on February 15, but we got a sneak peek at some of the pieces to hit the designer’s special boutique. We love the python printed top (right, $70) and denim skirt ($150) and the red matte jersey dress ($250), but our favorite piece from the collection has to be the two-toned reversible trench (left, $350)—perfect for a spring day. Pair all of the above with chic black espadrilles ($450) from Rodriguez’s regular collection, which eBay shoppers will get the first dibs to purchase.

Michelle Obama’s 365 Days of Style

Nov 3, 2009 @ 11:00 am

It’s been a year since Michelle Obama assumed her role as First Lady Elect in an unforgettable Narciso Rodriguez sheath (far left). Since that memorable November 4th, Mrs. Obama has made a habit of mixing avant-garde with Gap and playful accessories with classic silhouettes. So whether she’s wearing one of her favorite J. Crew cardigans or an elaborately embellished Jason Wu dress (left), one thing is for certain—Michelle Obama has still got our vote for Most Fashionable First Lady.
