Monday evening turned into Celebrity Date Night when cutie couples popped up at all of the hottest events. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham celebrated the New York premiere of his movie Safe; Naomi Watts (in Stella McCartney) and Liev Schreiber dropped by the 2012 Tribeca Ball in Manhattan; and The Amazing Spider-Man co-stars (and real-life pair) Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield promoted their film in Cancun, Mexico. Naomi Watts just scored a royal role! The actress is set to play Princess Diana in Caught in Flight, a drama about the last two years of the Princess of Wales’s life, Deadline reports. ”It is such an honor to be able to play this iconic role,” Watts said in a statement. “Princess Diana was loved across the world and I look forward to rising to the challenge of playing her on screen.” Caught in Flight begins filming later this year. And Princess Diana isn’t the only icon Watts is bringing to the big-screen—she’s also playing Marilyn Monroe in Blonde, an adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’s novel about the late actress.

Wine nails are a hot beauty trend this winter, but the color looks great lips, too! Olsen did her own makeup for the Sundance premiere of Liberal Arts, but her makeup artist Gita Bass certainly approves of her deep lip shade! “The stain adds a pop of color that contrasts perfectly with the golden tones in her hair, as well as her tiger shirt,” Bass told InStyle.com exclusively. “If you try this look, keep the rest of your makeup minimal, except for subtle definition around the eyes. Apply lipstick directly from the tube, then use your finger to press the color in with your fingers.” The result? An effortlessly glam Bordeaux pout.

Stella McCartney celebrated the opening of her New York flagship store in Soho by inviting some of her closest pals to a private dinner, including Naomi Watts and Saturday Night Live star Kristen Wiig (dressed in the designer’s clothes, of course). McCartney, an avid animal rights activist, offered a meat-free menu created by star chef Mario Batali to her guest list, which also included Liv Tyler, Stephanie Seymour, and Seth Meyers. Oprah Winfrey entertained some of Hollywood’s hottest in honor of close friend Ralph Lauren and his commitment to charity at Lincoln Center in New York City last night. The evening started with a conversation with the designer talk inspiration, success, and family, which was then followed by a dinner to jointly benefit the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (they raised over $7 million). Naomi Watts, Kerry Washington, Camilla Belle, and Jessica Alba were just a few of the celebrities who showed up to toast to the legendary designer, all wearing looks he created. “I have a lot of Ralph Lauren!” Belle told InStyle.com before being whisked inside the event.
