Stars crowded into the Beverly Hilton last night for the second annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards, hosted by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, and many of the night’s leading ladies chose summer-friendly blush colors. (Could it have been the thought of critics all around that told them to choose the safe hue?) Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski put together the flesh-tone Paule Ka outfit for Beth Behrs, and added a pop of fuchsia with her lip. “We thought of an Audrey Hepburn type of a look and this pink lipstick and the way this is silhouetted, it kind of reminded us of her,” the Two Broke Girls star told InStyle.com. Other ladies dressed in the pale tones included Best Reality Show Host winner Cat Deeley (in Mulberry), Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland (in Collette Dinnigan), and Best Guest Performer winner Lucy Liu (in Atelier Versace). See what everyone else wore to the ceremony in the gallery.

Lana Del Rey nailed it! The singer, and muse for Mulberry’s new Del Rey it bag, inspired new manicure products for Nail Rock, too. Designers from the brand teamed up with Mulberry to create the Lake Placid nail wraps—a nod to the star’s New York hometown and standout manicures. The swipe-on strips are available at Mulberry boutiques for the global launch of the Del Rey handbag.

Britain’s top designers were honored yesterday in London for the annual British Fashion Awards, including footwear designer Nicholas Kirkwood (center) who was named Accessory Designer of the Year. The designer, who is known for his architecturally-inspired shoes, got his start working with Kate Middleton’s favorite hat maker Philip Treacy. Kirkwood’s eponymous line garnered attention last spring when shoe-fanatic Sarah Jessica Parker wore his suede platform shoes (shown far left) three times in one week! His other celebrity fans include Claudia Schiffer (center, right) and Jessica Alba, shown above in a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood sandals. Other BFA winners include Phoebe Philo of Celine for Designer of the Year, Mulberry for Designer Brand, Burberry for Digital Innovation Award, Naomi Campbell for the Special Recognition Award and resounding new it-girl Alexa Chung for British Style. The late designer Alexander McQueen was also honored with the award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design—watch the moving tribute video directed by photographer Nick Knight after the jump.
