Catching Fire: Dragon Tattoo Costume Designer Is On Board

Oh, happy day, Tributes! Costume designer Trish Summerville, the genius who turned dimpled Rooney Mara into The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo‘s goth princess, Lisbeth Salander, has signed on to create the looks for The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, EW’s PopStyle reports. One of the many looks Summerville will be responsible for is Katniss Everdeen’s (Jennifer Lawrence) wedding dress, a luxe white gown with a pivotal plot moment. We can’t wait to see how she creates that memorable look!

Noomi Rapace: See Her Red Carpet Style!

After getting to know Noomi Rapace as the original Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, the actress now stars in a stateside blockbuster, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. We caught up with her during her red carpet moment at the Los Angeles premiere to talk style: “I like designers who take risks, and are a bit more edgy,” said Rapace, who chose pieces by Emilio Pucci and Valentino recently (shown). “I was a punk girl when I was young and I have that inside me, so I like things that are glamorous but a bit more edgy.” See more photos in the gallery now.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo: Pop-Up Shop Now Open!

Fans of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, take note: H&M launched a pop-up shop in celebration of it’s Dragon Tattoo Collection! The part retail, part coffee shop, part cyber cafe showcases the complete collection by the film’s stylist Trish Summerville. But there’s an interactive component as well: guests can watch extended film trailers while they shop, take pictures in a photo booth and even access all of the cameras in the pop-up shop (inspired by the computer hacking anti-heroine of the film, played by Rooney Mara). Check out the pop-up shop at 72 Gasevoort between Washington and Greenwich Streets in New York City, open from December 14th through December 16th from 12pm to 10pm daily.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo collection for H&M hits stores today! Inspired by anti-heroine Lisbeth Salander’s look, the 30-item lineup—which features boots, pants, accessories, and tops—is now available at select H&M locations worldwide, just in time for the movie’s December 21st release. “We were really focused on the fabrications and the agings and the over-dying, and it really shows” Trish Summerville, the film’s stylist who collaborated on the line told InStyle exclusively.
