Oscars 2012: Miss Piggy in Zac Posen; Kermit in Brooks Brothers

Excusez-moi, Miss Piggy! The Notorious P.I.G. looked fabulous at the 2012 Oscars, thanks to a custom dress by Zac Posen. The Muppet accessorized with Christian Louboutin shoes and Fred Leighton jewelry, including a 70-carat amethyst and diamond ring from the ‘40s, a 55-carat diamond and platinum swirl necklace and a matching 40-carat swirl bracelet, both from the ‘50s. Her hairstylist Kim Kimble, who also works with Beyonce and Kerry Washington, finished off her blowout with a 10-carat diamond clip. Her best accessory, however, was her date—Kermit the Frog, who looked handsome in a Brooks Brothers tuxedo. What a cute couple!

Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog, Tina Fey, and Angelina Jolie are heading to the Oscars! The Academy just named these four as the latest presenters at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, THR reports. We don’t know whose outfit we’re more excited to see—Miss Piggy’s or Jolie’s! The Muppets: The Cast Tries Miss Piggy’s Hair!

In celebration of the upcoming movie The Muppets, out November 23rd, we added Miss Piggy’s hairstyle to our Hollywood Makeover Tool, which means now you can see yourself in her signature blond bob. The Muppets are back and more fashionable than ever, thanks to their designer friends! Over the weekend, our November model Miss Piggy attended the film’s L.A. premiere in a white silk Jeremy Scott gown. ”Thanks 2 my wonderful Divalicious friend for making me look fab,” the puppet Tweeted. Not to be outdone, the love of her life Kermit works two looks from Brooks Brothers in The Muppets movie—a notch lapel tuxedo and a flannel coat and trousers topped off with a cashmere scarf, shown. Catch all the felted fashion when the movie hits theaters November 23rd.

In celebration of her upcoming movie The Muppets—her first on-screen appearance in 12 years—the Notorious P.I.G. took a moment out of her busy schedule to pose for a photo shoot for InStyle’s November issue. Six designers created custom pieces for her, including Prabal Gurung (shown), Jason Wu, Brian Atwood, Suno, Opening Ceremony, and Giles & Brother. “Simply beautiful, yet deliciously exotic and enticingly romantic. Yes, I’m talking about myself—as well as this fabulous frock designed by my new BFF Prabal Gurung,” Miss P. says of this look.
