Resident Evil: Retribution: Milla Jovovich Costume Preview

Sep 14, 2012 @ 4:24 pm

The film industry’s Resident name-taker is back! Milla Jovovich reprises her role as Alice in the zombie-laden action thriller franchise Resident Evil, with the fourth installment, Retribution, hitting theaters today. While Jovovich is no stranger to the fashion world, having jump-started her career as a model before adding actress and designer to her resume, the multi-hyphenate shrugs off her usual sartorial tendencies (Chanel, Versace, Reem Acra, to name a few) and opts for more practical villain-fighting looks. Enter this skin-tight black number Jovovich pairs with a bondage-style corset for her most recent portrayal of Alice. We can’t wait to see more of the kick-ass costumes. So, tell us in the comments: Do you plan on seeing Resident Evil: Retribution this weekend?

Milla Jovovich’s Haircut Inspiration: The Sims

Mar 26, 2012 @ 12:40 pm

Milla Jovovich added a dose of edge to her brunet crop with an asymmetrical undercut inspired by her favorite computer game. “I have a strange addiction to The Sims,” Jovovich told us at a Restoration Hardware event in Los Angeles. “All my Sims wind up with this haircut, and it’s always a house full of really hot chicks. I thought, ‘Obviously I want this haircut because I keep picking it out.’” The model-turned-actress accentuated her half-shaved style with a deep side part. Tell us: Do you like her new look?

Sergio Rossi’s Clutch for Cannes!

May 19, 2011 @ 3:11 pm

Milla Jovovich‘s cute butterfly motif clutch caught our eye when she walked the red carpet at the La Conquete premiere in Cannes. Turns out the bag was a special edition design by Francesco Russo, the creative director for Sergio Rossi! Russo has made a tradition of creating a special product for Cannes, and this year’s red and gold embellished minaudiere proved to be the perfect complement to Jovovich’s Prada gown. The bag, along with a limited edition sandal inspired by the festival, will be available for purchase in select boutiques worldwide and on Sergio Rossi’s website on June 3rd.

Stars Come Out for Chanel Haute Couture

Jul 7, 2010 @ 10:22 am

He is Karl Lagerfeld, hear him roar… or, at least, hear his Chanel Fall/Winter 2010 Haute Couture collection. In honor of Coco Chanel’s astrological sign—the Leo—Lagerfeld debuted a lineup of gilded twenties-style cocktail dresses, classic tweed suits and lavish accessories (bedecked with fur, pearls, chains and embroideries) underneath a mammoth gold lion statue at Paris’ Grand Palais. And plenty of Chanel-clad stars were on hand to take in the spectacular scene, including Jessica Alba (who’s been making her way around Paris), Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester, Blake Lively and Clemence Poesy (they’re currently filming in the City of Lights), and Milla Jovovich. Click through our gallery to see all the celebrities at the show, plus some of our favorite looks from the collection.
