Kelly Osbourne is the new face of Material Girl, the clothing line designed by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes “Lola” Leon. (Osbourne took over for Taylor Momsen, who modeled the line’s debut collection last fall.) The Fashion Police star’s new campaign recently launched, and we got our hands on some amazing behind-the-scenes images of Osbourne modeling, including this exclusive photo, shown right. Dance For a Chance to Meet Madonna!

Calling all dancers—Madonna wants you to help her launch her and Lourdes’ Material Girl Collection! Auditions to dance at the line’s launch party at Macy’s Herald Square on September 22nd are being held tomorrow at the Broadway Dance Center in N.Y.C., where a panel of judges—including Madonna’s lead dancer Leroy “Hypnosis” Barnes—will choose 20 semi-finalists based on one-minute dance routines. (Note: All dancers must be between the ages of 18 and 27 to participate.) But make sure to arrive on time, only the first 150 contestants will get to audition. Not based in New York? Just upload your best moves to youtube.com/materialgirlcol by September 3rd for a chance to be considered. The final ten will be chosen by Madonna herself, so start getting your “Vogue” on now.

We’ve been following Lola’s blogs and counting down the days till the debut of Material Girl at Macy’s, and the day has finally arrived! An Exclusive Look at Taylor Momsen’s Material Girl Shoot

We told you when Taylor Momsen was confirmed as the face of Madonna and daughter Lordes “Lola” Leon’s new fashion line, Material Girl. Now we’ve gotten our hands on pictures from the shoot–including a few exclusive behind-the-scenes photos. In a statement, the pop icon explained her reason for choosing Momsen, saying “Taylor has a cool sense of style that’s unique and fits with the Material Girl look.” The line, which will be available exclusively at Macy’s, will be launched with a live performance by Momsen herself on August 3rd at the department store’s Herald Square location in New York; Madonna and Lourdes will make their own appearance at the store on September 22nd. Momsen, who is currently performing on the Vans Warped Tour with her band The Pretty Reckless, has been known to rock some seriously edgy ensembles–making her the ideal girl to represent the rocker chic pieces that compose the line. Taylor Momsen Revealed as Madonna’s “Material Girl”

Macy’s released a faceless teaser campaign for Madonna and Lourdes’s new fashion line, Material Girl, last month to get the dialogue going about who would be the celebrity muse. And after much speculation, it has been confirmed that it is indeed Taylor Momsen! The juniors collection mixes fierce and feminine elements, like studded leather and floral prints—totally on par with Momsen’s rocker girl style. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes scoop on Madonna, Lola and Taylor’s collab later this month on InStyle.com.

Lourdes Leon Has A Blog

Lola speaks! Just in time to promote the line she co-designed with her mom, Madonna, thirteen-year-old Lourdes Leon has launched her own blog at MaterialGirlCollection.com. “Helluuur thurrrr,” she begins in her introductory post before going on to announce that she’s looking forward to her upcoming fourteenth birthday because “I am FINALLY allowed to dye my hair!” She’s also careful to plug the 1980s-influenced collection: “And the 80′s are another huge obsession of mine, which is totally amazingly awesome because of Material Girl . . . HELLO!” She finished her first blog entry by offering some fairly tough fashion advice: “OK but no joke, gladiator sandals are OUT. They’ve been around for three years people COME ON!!!!” More

Madonna’s Material Girl Collection Sketches Revealed!

Ever since we heard that Madonna is co-designing a juniors clothing line with her thirteen-year-old daughter Lourdes, we’ve been dying to see what the super-stylish duo would dream up. So we were thrilled to get a sneak peek at the sketches for the Fall 2010 collection from Material Girl. The super-cute ensembles we saw mixed both fierce and feminine elements—like a tutu dress paired with studded combat boots, or a floral mini topped with a boyfriend sweatshirt—and the printed and embellished basics are making us eager to see if we can still squeeze into a size 11. Material Girl will be sold exclusively at Macy’s and on macys.com and hits shelves August 3rd.
