It was all about bold Mary Katrantzou prints for Sarah Jessica Parker, when she and husband Matthew Broderick stepped out in New York for the party to celebrate opening night of his late mother’s art exhibit, Patricia Broderick: Paintings and Works On Paper. The exhibit, on display at the Tibor de Nagy Gallery, presents an overview of the artist’s work from her last decade before she passed away in 2003. Wear it confidently.” Agreed! Tell us: Which of these prints would you wear?

Celebrities love Mary Katrantzou! The Greek-born, London-based designer launched her first ready-to-wear collection in 2008, and her instantly identifiable vibrant prints became a red carpet favorite ever since. “It’s flattering,” the designer told InStyle.com of seeing stars like Keira Knightley, Hailee Steinfeld, Claudia Schiffer, and Dianna Agron in her designs at the British Fashion Council’s London Show Rooms event in Los Angeles. “It makes you happy because you never have that perspective until you see the clothes on a woman. It’s always been a woman with a strong presence. It’s amazing.” Last month, her skills were recognized in a big way when the 28-year-old won the Emerging Talent Award at British Fashion Awards. Her clothes are available now at net-a-porter.com, and next year she’ll be releasing collaborations with Topshop and Longchamp. Not ready for her print power?
