The print-centric lineup features silk separates, vibrant summer dresses, chunky resin jewelry, and wooden platform sandals ranging from $10 to $149. “I love that it’s accessible for everyone,” Freida Pinto told us of the Marni for H&M collection at the line’s Los Angeles launch party. “I love anything that’s easy and doesn’t have to be fussed after. The Marni for H&M collection hits stores next month, and we can hardly wait! And we’re not alone in our eagerness for the print-centric Italian label’s lower-price collaboration: Felicity Jones, Drew Barrymore, Freida Pinto, and Jessica Chastain were among the celebrities who suited up in Marni for H&M for an all-out Moroccan-themed bash celebrating the line in Los Angeles this weekend. “It’s accessible and affordable,” Barrymore told InStyle.com of the collection. “I love when people bring high end designers to these stores where you can supermarket sweep it and be crazy and not break your bank.” We agree! Watch Sofia Coppola’s Marni for H&M Video

Marni’s highly-anticipated collaboration with H&M doesn’t hit stores until March 8th, but the retailer just released a clip of the clothes in action to hold us over! In the Sofia-Coppola-directed video, models lounge poolside in Morocco wearing beachy pieces from the line, like polka dot scarves, sundresses in muted prints and chunky acrylic baubles. Marni to Launch H&M Collection: First Photos!

Marni is about to get a little more budget-friendly! Today, H&M announced it partnered with the print-centric Italian label—which is loved by celebrities like Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon, and Sarah Jessica Parker—for a new capsule collection set to hit stores worldwide March 8, 2012. “The collaboration with H&M has been an exciting challenge,” says Marni’s founder and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni. “I’m very proud of the result. Everything has the same level of quality, craft, and attention to detail Marni is known for.” The lineup will include skirts, dresses, pants, and knits, jewelry, bags, footwear, and scarves, as well as menswear pieces, in new combinations of her signature prints and colors. “It’s great to speak to a wider audience, and in particular, the younger generations,” adds Castiglioni. We love a good designer denim collaboration—Lanvin’s ongoing partnership with Acne, Proenza Schouler’s recent one-off collection for J. Brand—and now Marni and Current/Elliott are teaming up for a jean line of their own. Combining the Italian label’s colorful whimsy with Current/Elliott’s Americana approach to denim, the collection pairs artful tees with embellished versions of Current/Elliott’s cult boyfriend jeans. Current/Elliott + Marni hits Marni boutiques and select department stores in June.
