Dick Clark passed away yesterday at the age of 82, and it’s with sadness that we say goodbye to America’s oldest teenager. We first got to know him as the host of American Bandstand, and then he made Times Square a must-see every December 31st with his always-memorable New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show. Over the years, he also chronicled the most of-the-moment singers and stars, including some of our favorites, like Paula Abdul, Hilary Duff, and Mariah Carey. Mariah Carey didn’t hesitate showing off her foxy gams when she tweeted a picture of herself next to her red and silver tinsel-covered Christmas tree! Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian decorated her tree with giant, sparkly purple bulbs. (Of course!) Ashley Tisdale sweetly showed off her work-in-progress, posting a TwitPic of her mother on a ladder, adjusting the last whirl of a garland. Our sentimental favorite? First Lady, Michelle Obama, who was photographed debuting the White House tree to a gaggle of adorable elementary school children! We’re only five months into 2011, but a slew of Hollywood starlets have already taken on major roles: being new moms! Celebs like Penelope Cruz and Elizabeth Banks (right) celebrated the birth of their babies this year, becoming proud first-time parents, and Mariah Carey got double the trouble with her first pregnancy when she gave birth to twins, Moroccan and Monroe. Which Celebrity Fragrance Should Win a FiFi Award?

The Fragrance Foundation announced the nominees for the 2011 FiFi Awards this month, an annual event honoring the most creative achievements in perfume. Categories include Best Bath and Body Products, Best Media Campaign, and Best Packaging—a bracket which was swept by celebrities! Scents by Halle Berry, Eva Longoria, Avril Lavigne, Mariah Carey and Fergie were all nominated for Best Packaging of the Year Broad Appeal. Celine Dion‘s Belong perfume was the last celebrity fragrance to win the award in 2006, and we’ll find out if one of the nominated stars is taking home a crystal trophy when the winners are announced on May 25th. Details on Mariah’s New HSN Line

Mariah Carey has finally let husband Nick Cannon talk her down off her sky-high stilettos. “I got Mariah Carey, the high-heel queen, to put on some flats,” Cannon told listeners of his “Rollin With Nick Cannon” radio show this morning. But considering that she’s set to debut a new line of footwear, we’re not sure if the mommy-to-be will be able to keep her feet on the ground for long. On Cyber Monday, Carey will hit the airwaves to unveil her new lifestyle line for shopping channel HSN, which includes rhinestone-studded sandals, peep-toe platforms and a pair of cozy quilted winter boots (to satisfy Cannon, perhaps?). The exclusive collection also features crystal and butterfly-embellished jewelry, limited-edition fragrances and a special-edition copy of the singer’s hotly anticipated holiday album, “Merry Christmas II You.” Tune in to HSN on Monday, November 29th for your chance to score something from Mariah’s line!
