Givenchy Customized a Lip Color for Liv Tyler

Liv Tyler is one lucky woman! When the Robot and Frank star stopped by InStyle‘s Sundance portrait studio, she revealed that her pretty berry lip color came from a custom-blended gloss stick made especially for her by the beauty team at Givenchy. “I’m trying to convince them to add it to their collection and call it ‘Liv’s Lips,’” said Tyler, who also serves as the face of the label’s fragrance and makeup campaigns. While the couture color is exclusively hers for now, Tyler did share a simple tip that anyone can do at home: “If your lips are really dry, you can just literally put olive oil on them at night.” We tried it and it worked—thanks Liv!

Stella McCartney’s Resort 2012 Collection: Liv, Naomi, Bono, and More!

Some of Stella McCartney‘s closest friends and fans—including Liv Tyler, Naomi Watts, Bono, and Estelle—caught the first glimpse of the designer’s new Resort 2012 collection in New York yesterday. Models showed off playful floral prints, vibrant striped blouses, bow-covered skirts while hitting croquet balls, whacking pinatas, and dangling a yo-yos at McCartney’s fun backyard-style presentation. The collection also featured her famous Falabella-style bag in fresh new styles, like python with fuchsia contrast and brown leather with gold hardware. Last night’s party for Irene Neuwirth’s diamond collection at Barneys New York drew quite the celebrity crowd, including famous best friends Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams (in Prada) who stole away from the action to rest their feet on the store’s comfy leather chairs. InStyle‘s reporters also hit up a slew of New York events, including a Lenscrafters’ bash hosted by Joan Rivers and Madewell‘s latest store opening, where Alexa Chung gave us the inside scoop on her latest collection for the brand. Liv Tyler Fronts Givenchy’s Latest Fragrance Launch

Liv Tyler has been the muse for Givenchy’s Irrésistible fragrance line since 2003, and this week, she’s fronting the launch of a new Eau de Parfum called Very Irrésistible Givenchy L’Intense, or Vig L’Intense for short. The photos feature Tyler lounging in leather pants, an embellished chiffon top, and chunky studded bracelets from the fall 2010 Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci collection. The scent contains notes of Turkish rose, star anise accord, purple plum, patchouli, chypre and white musks, and it is available for $93 at Macys.com.
