Teresa Palmer: “Liam Hemsworth Is a Wonderful Guy”

What’s it like to get close to Liam Hemsworth and not be fiancé Miley Cyrus? Australian actress Teresa Palmer knows! She filmed the upcoming Love and Honor romance alongside The Hunger Games heartthrob, and told us all about it when we caught up with her at a GenArt event honoring Vena Cava in Los Angeles last week. “Liam is a really wonderful guy,” the 26-year-old told InStyle.com of her fellow Aussie. “He’s such a smart actor, he’s talented and dynamic, and I definitely think he’s going to be a huge movie star.” (We’ll second that motion!) In the movie, Hemsworth plays a Vietnam solider who goes AWOL to win over his former flame, played by Palmer—we can’t wait to see it on the big screen next year!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth share the same fashion philosophy—Miley’s always right. That’s what the Hunger Games star told InStyle.com at an event benefiting City Year just weeks before he popped the question. “It’s a ‘yes or no’ thing,” he explained of their laid-back approach. “[We’ll ask,] ‘Does this look good?’ We’ll say yes or no. If it looks good, we wear it. If it doesn’t, we don’t.” How often does he suggest another option? “I don’t have any real say in what she wears,” he laughed. “I just agree most of the time!” Spoken like a true husband in waiting!

It’s a wedding in the USA! Miley Cyrus said “yes” to her boyfriend of three years, 22-year-old Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, on May 31st, and the couple confirmed the news today. “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” 19-year-old Cyrus told People. Hemsworth popped the question with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane, whose engagement sparklers also top the fingers of Britney Spears and Bachelor contestant Emily Maynard. We can’t wait to see what Cyrus wears down the aisle!
